Day 005 - markers (& shadows, & a little coffee bean!)



Was going to do a temple, did a few sketch scribbles, then had a phone call with my mom & mentioned the themes & she liked coffee & shadows idea & said coffee bean & mug as it's shadow XD so doodled that idea out & ta-dah..... I need to learn how to use/colour with markers, I feel like a 5 yr old with crayons.... lol

All the doodles are on the other page under the markers, & don't show up in this camera + light. :/

Day 006 - Map



So forgot to label it, but island with skull & crossbones has cannibals on it, the green messy bottom left corner is impenetrable great jungle, the grand coastal/river edge sand dunes are based on the French ones...and the defensive town is modeled on Neuf-Brisach wink

Day 007 - Zen Doodles



So while I like the prettiness of the end result, I really don't find Zen Doodles restful, calming or zen like.... More annoying, irksome & a little boring? Hmmmm

Day 11 - Ghost



So I had this white Pitt artist brush pen that I bought on a whim (with a white gel pen - the actual white pen I was meant to get) to use over my markers like those artists I've seen on YouTube. It did not do much. Soaked into the marker & mostly disappeared & same on my black test paper.

But surprisingly worked nicely on the back cover of my sketchbook today! ...this being 2am, it's now tomorrow! XD

Day 12 - Spirit Pass 01

For some reason I'm thinking her name is Svetlana, she loves jewellery & fashion, think Cruella deVil or Alexander McQueen...

I was at dinner with my cousins this evening & got back late.
Earlier today I tried, the last page blank in my sketchbook is now just badly proportioned rubbed out blue pencil lines super imposed on each other!
