Phoenixfire huffed as she stood to her feet, pacing a couple steps back and forth before she let her anger take hold at her rival's taunts. She had an inkling of Miranda's prior relationships but had never made a point of delving further. Phoenix roared in anger as she took a couple steps back and aimed a kick at Melissa's ribs.

"ARGRGRHHHH"

Melissa made a weird noise as she left the kick of the Phoenix slam right into her ribs, knocking a fair bit of air out of her. She clutched at her side and rolled towards the ropes, once she was at the ropes Melissa laid there holding her ribs. That last taunt managed to provoke her legendary opponent who lashed out with a stiff kick, with a smile on her face Melissa knew she had lit a fire underneath Phoenixfire.
