Bad Boy vs Kody "Kodiak" Gordert [Octane #15]

"Bloody Nose" by Hollywood Undead roars through the P.A. system. Kodiak walks out of the back wearing white bandanna covering his nose and mouth, sleeveless black t-shirt with 'Defend The Den' in white on the front, black shorts with a white strip going down both sides of it, and blue shoes.

"Introducing first from Michigan," The announcer declares "Weighing in at 200 lbs, Kody "Kodak" Gordert!"

As he was being introduce to the crowd for the first time in years, he looks around the arena at the face of the fans who came out to the show. He gives off a deflating sigh and shrug of the shoulders as he strolled down the ramp, He kept his hands on the back of his head to avoid the hands of the fans who are stretching them out.

Kody slides head first into the ring and bounces off the ropes to get ready for the match at hand. Kodiak takes of the bandanna and the shirt giving them to a ring aid as his opponent to shows up

((Sorry for the delay busy weekend and just got sick.))

After Kody's theme dies down, the lights turn to a dark blue as "Strange Clouds" starts up, the crowd giving a nice positive reaction. Out comes Bad Boy decked in his normal black with purple stripe down each side, and black vest. Looking out to the crowd with a slight smile on his face while he gets to the stage, stopping for a moment to raise his fist up. Bad Boy would then proceed to walk down the ramp and make his way to the ring.

"His opponent, weighing 228 pounds.....BAAAAD BOYYYYY!"

Bad Boy pulled himself up to the apron by the middle rope, and stepped through into the ring. He quickly peeled his vest off, dropping it to the outside and adjusted his elbow pad before getting into ready position to start the match![/align]

The 2019 King Of The Canvas finally decided to grace Kody his presence for their match. Kodiak was sitting on the top turnbuckle as Bad Boy made his way down to the ring. He hops down from the top turnbuckle as Bad Boy took of his vest to signal the start of this match.

Ding, Ding

Kodiak would go in like he was going for a lock up with Bad Boy in the middle of the ring. But the last second, he would attempt to kick him in stomach instead. If the kick connected, as Bad Boy was bent over from the kick. Kody would attempt an open hand slap trying to knock the taste out of Bad Boy’s mouth!

Bad Boy was so in the thought of his promo and his Wrestlemania main event that he was caught off guard! Looking for the lock up, he was caught right in the stomach with the kick, dropping to a knee before pushing himself back up to his feet fast enough to catch a slap right across the mouth! Bad turned away from Kodiak, stumbling towards the ropes, turning back to his opponent as he held his jaw.

Kody attempts to drive his right forearm into the back of Bad’s left knee going for a chop block hoping to knock Bad down to the mat. If the chop block connected, Kody would try to hold Bad’s left ankle down to the mat with his left foot as he tries to stomp Bad’s left knee over and over with his right foot.

Bad Boy was caught in the back of the knee, falling back. Kody grabbing his leg and stomping on the knee with his leg being held in place, the only thing Bad Boy could do is try to force his leg away from Kody and get to the ropes. The unexpected aggression getting Kody the advantage in the start of the match!

After couple of stomps Bad Boy was able to wiggle his leg from underneath of Kodiak’s foot and begins to reach for the ropes nearby. Not wanting Bad to catch his breath, Kody runs across the ring and bounces off the ropes back toward Bad Boy. Kody attempts to baseball slide Bad Boy out of the ring and to the floor below!

Bad Boy was channeling his inner Rey Mysterio by holding onto his left kneeeeeeeeee which was in total pain! Slowly getting himself to the apron to try and use the ropes to stand up, but was interrupted by both feet of Kody being driven into his chest! Bad was sent to the floor, landing back first on the floor! Laying there in a heap!

Kody quickly slides out of the ring after sending Bad Boy out of the ring so rudely. He attempts to grab Bad Boy’s legs and tries to catapult him face first into the nearest turnbuckle! If the catapult works, Kody would attempt get behind Bad going for release German suplex into the security barricade!

Bad Boy had his legs hooked, and was pulled up and sent face first into the ring post! Cracking his skull off the steel, landing on his feet, stumbling back as he held his face! Suddenly he feels his waist being wrapped around, and thrown backwards, the back of his head hitting the barricade! The crowd letting out an "OHHH!" as Bad Boy rolls around holding the back of his head, his right foot slamming into the floor repeatedly.

This aggression and brutally from Kody haven’t been seen in years. Years away from the wrestling scene as done wonders to his focus. Kody attempts to pick Bad boy up with a bear hug and attempts to slam him spine first into ring apron. If the slam connected, Gordert would attempt to roll Bad Boy back into the ring.

Bad Boy was picked up to his feet, lifting his arm looking to drive an elbow into the back of Kody, but he was suddenly pushed back and driven into the barricade! The pain shooting through his mid back and through his ribs! The air taken out of Bad Boy, allowing him to be throw into the ring, rolling all the way to the middle, face down to the back with his arms covering his head.

Kody slides into the ring under the bottom rope keeping the pressure onto the King of The Canvas. Kodiak attempts to place his foot in the middle of Bad’s back as he pulls Bad’s arms backward into a modified surfboard stretch! If Kody was able to lock in the modified surfboard stretch, he would attempt to place his foot on the back of Bad Boy’s head and try to drive him face first into the mat going for a curb stomp!

Bad Boy was down, but was able to see up and notice Kody coming towards him looking to do even more damage! Thinking fast Bad Boy looked to pop up and catch Kody with a lariat!
