Physical Description: Syrenthie is a shorter curvy woman standing about 5’3 and weighing in at about 150 lbs soaking wet. She has long black hair which is always braided back out of her way, and neatly so. Her eyes are a deep hazel green. Dressed moderately well and always with a clean apron on she appears quite well put together. Her hands are often a little rough, on account of washing them so frequently-yet they are sturdy and sure when working.
Personality: Being from Fort Hold she is a lucky one. Having not yet reached 65 turns, and yet having reached the rank of craft master there has to be a certain degree luck involved (or so she’s told). Yet she is no slouch, and quite obviously earned her Masters rank. Being that the thread had returned in recent years her skills were in high demand and she had plenty of takers to learn upon to gain the Master rank. She is sure and steady like her hands, with a good bedside manner. When seen not at the bedside she is often quiet, observing and thinking before she speaks. She holds herself to a high standard and has the reputation to back it, She is the compassionate sort- has to be in her chosen craft. However because she holds herself so high she has the tendency to beat herself up after the crisis has passed, sure that she could have done more or better somehow. This goes with the temper she has, which, though young, she has learned some control over, it still will show up outside of work. Given the combination of her intelligence and temper she is quick to judge, and has not yet learned to give people time, often going off of first impressions.

History: She grew up in Fort Hold and from the time she was young showed an aptitude for keeping a level head in a crisis, and quick hands to help those in need. She had a comfortable childhood, being the only child of her parents they doted upon her and probably encouraged the spark of her temper in order to protect herself due to her being small- as well as it being adorable. Her calming of that trait was hard won in her younger years often thinking she knew better than her elders and while she didn’t outright go against what they said she would challenge them. Though she learned to shut up and listen, it took time, esp because if they didn’t impress her at first she didn’t want to listen to what she had to say. During her teenage years she had a falling out with her mother who wanted her to become a midwife, whereas she wanted to study more...specialized cases. Which proved a bit difficult as life was fairly placidish. Certainly taking after her father who was made a craft master Harper by his 55th turn she thought there was nothing standing in her way- until she found “love”. Turning from her studies to pursue the young woman did not go well. For the woman was not of an honorable sort, and enjoyed sparking Syrenthie’s temper so she could be fought over. It nearly drove Syrenthie to ruin in her studies. But upon being quite literally cast aside, she turned to her studies once more throwing herself into them with renewed gusto.Certain she would tie her father with becoming a master by turn 55. But Turn 55 came and went, and then did 56, and 57. But in her 58th turn the the Thread returned. Suddenly she had many people in need of her healing skills, especially her specialization. Upon reaching craft master rank at 62 she decided it was time for a change of scenery and set off for a place in need of her skills. Higher Reaches Weyr. Being a more recent arrival she doesn't know her way around very much.
