Cyrus vs. 2.0 [TLW]

Stepping from behind, Cyrus would attempt to grab King's head and quickly slam it into the ring post.

AH HA! King was grabbed and as Cyrus moved to slam him face first into the post, King put his leg up and stopped their momentum with his foot on the post. In quick succession, King tried to dislodge Cyrus from himself with an elbow to the ribs, and then grab Cyrus and throw him into the ringpost just as Cyrus had tried to do to King.

The attack was suddenly halted as King stopped himself. "Oomph!" Cyrus was struck in ribs before being launched towards the ringpost! He collided face-first into the post and fell to the floor.

King went to pay back Cyrus for his earlier rib shot with a kick of his own to the side of Leone, before picking him up and trying to toss him back into the ring, near the corner.

"Ooph!" A second shot to Cyrus' ribs before he pulled back onto his feet and tossed into the ring! A spot blood appeared at the side of his forehead after hit from the ringpost.

King quickly climbed up onto the apron and then up the turnbuckles from the outside of the ring, climbing up until he was standing precariously on the top turnbuckle, where many fans took the opportunity to take pictures of him. It was as worthy a WrestleMania moment as any, to see Kelly King 2.0 and Cyrus wrestling at all, but to see them ready to rip each other apart for the sake of a victory on the Grandest Stage of them All... It was clear that 2.0 was putting his all into his match against Cyrus, throwing out all the stops and showing off new moves when he could. There was nothing that could stop King in that moment, with all the fans in the arena cheering him on. King wished the moment could just go on forever like that, the crowd chanting his name, chanting for him to beat Cyrus within an inch of his life after all the negativity he had brought to WWF:G in the past several months. King closed his eyes and drank in that moment like a fine glass of wine, or in King's straight-edge case, a fizzy soda, ice cold and poured into an cognac whisky glass, just as King liked it. King stood up straight and outstretched his arms. Full of the might and strength of the people behind him, the System, The One True King, Greatness at it's Greatest, The Man that Time Forgot, The Single Longest Active In-Ring Competitor In The History Of This World, The Best of The Best, Like No One Ever Was, The End of an Era was ready. This was the moment he had trained for, and win or lose, King knew that Cyrus and he were destined for legend after tonight.

King landed flush on Cyrus with a hard body splash, and then immediately hooked a leg for the cover!

The fans were on the edge of their seats after witnessing such a breath taking stunt from the One True King! The thousands in attendance, the millions watching at home; all who have spent their hard earned dollar, and double the amount of ******** who are going to bootleg it later, just to watch such a match! This is the kind of match you can only see once in a lifetime; not at Wrestlemania, but at the Last Wrestlemania! All waited in anticipation to see what was going to happen next. Would be able Cyrus kick out?! Who could possibly withstand such a move?! The referee immediately dropped down in response to the pin attempt. However, after only two slaps to the canvas, the Lion once more threw his shoulder up after taking such a move!

Now, King was not a fool. He'd never once managed to pin someone with Anyway, Here's Wonderfall, not even when it was called the Shoal. Not even when he jumped off the balcony onto Matt Shanahan several WrestleManias ago. So when Cyrus kicked out and thrust his arm up, King immediately grabbed Cyrus' arm and tried to roll them both over, away from the ropes, onto their bellies for King to lock in a Crippler Canadian Crossface!

Cyrus was suddenly rolled into the unexpected Canadian Crossface! "Ahhhh!" The Lion grit his teeth as he was held in place by the submission, he dug his knees into the canvas and leaned towards the ropes. He slowly tried to inch his way into range of the bottom rope.

King kept the crossface locked in, and tried to pull the pressure back harshly, stretching Cyrus' back as he inched closer and closer to the ropes with his knees. As Cyrus started to reach out to the bottom rope, King put his foot against the rope instead, which the ref admonished him for, and then kicked off the bottom rope, trying to roll them back into the center of the ring and cinch in that Canadian Crossface even deeper!

The two were rolled back into the center of the ring with the submission now sunk in deeper. There was no point in making it back to the ropes. The Lion planted his hand into the ground and dug his knees once more into the canvas, this time to attempt to pull himself up.

King cinched in that crossface as hard as he could, wondering inside himself if this was the moment that he was finally going to make someone tap out with it. However, then he felt his body moving up slightly, as Cyrus rose, and then after a bit, King was basically hanging off of a standing Leone.

Now on his feet with King hanging by the crossface and with an arm shoved in between his legs, Cyrus would attempt to shift his arm up and launch 2.0 onto his shoulders, into fireman's carry position! Through grit teeth the Lion would finally speak up once again. "Airplane spin!"
