After the CDC was a bust. The group, after much debate, decided to move north. Of course the ride ended up being pretty quiet, no pun intended, as casey tagged along with daryl in his truck, naturally. He watched as the world passed by them till their line of cars suddenly slowed to a stop. Thats when Casey finally turned to daryl with a curious look as to ask him whats going on, not liking that bad feeling he was getting when he looked around and saw all the abandoned cars surrounding them.

Daryl let out a long frustrated sigh as he abruptly stopped his truck. Picking up his crossbow from the passenger seat and slipped it over his shoulder and step out the truck. Honestly he didn’t have much of a clue what was happening either but he hoped things would get a little better. But reality sunk in as his mind told him otherwise. Such was a fool’s hope it was the apocalypse for ******** sake. He then walked over to the flat bed of his truck. Lifting up his arms he motioned to Casey for him to get closer so he could help him out and as he felt the need to protect him from whatever thing or someone came their way...

Aha my heart fluttered xD also whoopbhe actually didnt have his truck, he had to abandon it and took merle's bike but we'll say he still had it. sweatdrop ))
Casey immediately shuffled over to the edge of the trunk and began to climb out with his help. Rolling her sleeves up and staying behind him like he had frequently instructed her. following as the group got together to see that the rv broke down. And while they all talked she turned to see an open trunk out of curiosity she took a step closer to see if there was anything they could salvage. But there wasnt much in this particular car..

Casey had turned back to daryl at the perfect time, understanding the gesture and following behind him after a quick sign 'ok' since their communication was limited to a few basic words right now. He attempted to help him look through some of the cars that looked like they had a good amount to sift through, occasionally finding something to eat or drink, especially unopened, as victory in his book.

Casey stopped what he was doing and watched daryl's body language, understanding when he gestured for him to hide under the car beside him. He got down and climbed under, doing his best to keep still since keeping quiet was no challenge. He watched as some had shambled by him and in a panic he scanned around his hiding spot to see where daryl had gone and after he turned he felt a boney hand grasp his boot and he began to kick at it while trying to stay quiet but it didnt matter as more began to hobble in his direction so he let out a fearful squeak and as soon as he was free, he climbed out and made a run for a new hiding place behind a truck and climbed under another car. Hopefully the undead didnt see him.

When it was deemed safe, he peeked out from under the car to see daryl not too far and climbed out. Dusting himself off and made his way back over to the younger dixon. Giving the basic "im ok" sign to let him know he wasnt bit. He seemed relatively unfazed by what happened but there was no doubt hed let it out later when they were safe enough to relax again.

Casey followed daryl back to the group when He heard sofia had run off into the woods. He wanted to climb over the guard rail after rick to help but He couldnt even speak a word to anyone, Hed probably just get in the way so He stayed put and waited to see if the little girl would come back. He scrambled for a notepad from his bag and quickly scrawled down 'is she gonna be ok?' And held it up to Daryl to read.

Casey nodded but he had a bad feeling but all they could really do is wait to see if rick comes back with carol's little girl. He followed after daryl again with another scrawl on the paper, and signing while he showed him "are you going out there?" She wrote again before he could answer "its ok if you do. Ill stay put by the rv till you get back, promise." After he put the pad away and gave him the sign for promise. he didnt want daryl to go out, worried for his safety naturally but someone had to find little sofia. Casey then pulled a bottle of water from his bag that he had been sipping from and handed it to daryl in case he needed to drink something before he made a decision.

Casey blushed at hearing daryl call him sunshine. Maybe cause he only gave a real smile to him? he accepted the water back and nodded seeing him off before going to the rv like he promised. A little lost in thought for a while till deciding to climb up to the roof to help keep watch for walkers and or sophia if she found her way back. After some time though casey still hadnt seen any sign of the poor kid and the sun was getting low, this worried the mute boy more for the sake of his friend/crush finding his way back in the dark. Luckly that worry came to an end when they heard their group members coming back. He quickly climbed back down and hurried over to meet them..
