A modestly popular spot for Arashi residents and tourists alike to pop in an relax for a few minutes out of their busy day, the Hinageshi Teahouse is known for its delicate mix of a lively atmosphere that keeps everyone comfortable and a peaceful ambience that relaxes tired souls. Furnished in the traditional style with lots of red decor and a particular prevalence of red paper lanterns and poppy flowers, the Hinageshi Teahouse caters to all sorts of customers with its wide variety of teas and alcoholic beverages.
Its ground floor and outside tables are open for the walk-in public and it will frequently host performances on the stage on the ground floor. Second floor has tables and some small private rooms towards the back that can be reserved. The third floor is reserved for reservations by important clientile and consists of two private rooms, each separated from each other by an expanse of space, with the only way to access either being from the second floor.
Kagerou, the proprietor, occasionally visits the teahouse and will sometimes even serve tea within it. Beneath the surface, the Hinageshi Teahouse is a small part of the Kiritani clan's conglomerate-level information web. It was established in Arashigakure by Kagerou so that she would have a secure connection to her clan when she cannot leave the village.

Once she had entered, she saw the female from earlier. What was her name... Unki. That was right. Headed to the table, she sat down across Unki and place a pile of folders onto the table. "This is what CORE had on him."Nozomi explained quickly, wanted to get some words in before the female takes charge like she did earlier, "Also.. there's something I wanted you to read." With that, she went through the files and tried to find a blank piece of paper and started to scribble on it. She doesn't know if this photographer had more than one eyes so hopefully, her writing on paper would be safe. 'I placed a tracking jutsu on the letter I had sent to him. It's on the move now. We can follow it or try to set up a trap at the academy.' While Unki would be reading, she decided to carry onto the charade, "I wrote a letter to him, begging him to please not post my pictures on the front page and to meet me at the academy. Did you find any other information about him?" Nozomi questioned as she leaned forward on the seat, her arms crossed and resting on the cool table. Paranoid was the right word for her, she doesn't know what he was capable of and if he had any fuuin hidden in different places for him to be able to hear what was going on.
A man in oriental attire sat opposite of the two ladies. He'd sip his jasmine tea and watch them innocuously, on one hand it could appear he was looking through the window past them, on the other hand it could appear as if he was looking at them. Two girls? Two friends? Documents? Must have been business. Business acquaintances then. Eyes of Jade stared intently forward before looking down at what appeared to be a piece of paper containing several words. A crossword it seemed. As far as people go. This could only be considered a normal customer.

The peppy, pretty in purple woman had taken a seat at a table after a host welcomed her with an escort to a seat. Toso's squib being held closely on her lap. A porcelain tea pot and a setting of tea for two would arrive later arrive per Unki's request. A fragrant green tea. Her handy help arrived not too long after and Unki was quiet and gently drumming the top of the squib to a little song in her head. Folders were placed on the table with Nozomi's arrivial.
Unki was quiet as if some otherwordly force was telling her to shut up. Her stare was at Nozomi's letter like one an art student might devote to the most intricate and mind-blowing piece of art in a museam, completely locked in and soaking in the details. "HmMmm. I can't trust a man to have a heart until you break him. Unless he's one of those rare types. Toso had some general information but nothing that struck up as real a lead."
As a reply to Nozomi's question Unki gently bounces the squib bot into view. "This is gentleman Squib Seven Eight Eight and it's our new friend. " A little perk came along with being married to a manipulative politician who made his choices as if always looking to win, as if life were a board game, and didn't mind pruning carefully through truth for the perfect words. With her class on the line this photographic ordeal was partially beginning to look like a political affair where a low-life of one land was screwing around and holding the likeness of another nation's leader up for ransom. WWSD. What would Shiro do? "Our squib will come in handy. " She waves on to borrow the pencil to write something beside Nozomi's plan. Chinchin Daiyuri stole a Squib. Proof in photo. Follow letter. Track-able. What was "track-able" exactly? The letter? The squib? After sharing the note, Unki would slide it away and begin to fold into a square over and over again like a child biding time with junk paper. The small compact paper square and stuffed into the finger of her glove. " Got another? I want to make a paper shuriken? Oh! Have some tea. I hope you like green." Unki pours a cup for her handy help.

The redhaired kouichi couldn't help but be a bit confused. The first time she had met her was at the war, leading the army. It was only for a few seconds as well. Second time? Well Unki was mad and a bit frantic and not to mentioned confused Nozomi. Now? She was actually pretty quiet. Was this a hint to herself to be quiet. Nozomi couldn't help but to smile behind her mask as the blonde female mention that she cannot trust a man to have a heart until you break him. Her eyebrow rose a bit when Unki had brought up that Toso had a lead.
How did a Raikage, who was busy with the entire village about this kind of matter? She needed to be sure to add the Raikage to her suspect list for behing this Chinchin person but it couldn't be Toso! After all, their history was different unless the Raikage had the nerve to take Chinchin's identity. Nozomi pushed those thoughts in the back of her head for few reasons. They were rude and she cannot be judgmental until she finally meet the Raikage. As the squib bot was bounced into the view as she couldn't help but be confused and a bit curious. Squib Seven Eight Eight? What... kind of name was that?
A twinge of annoyance might be a bit detected. They were drifting further and further away from the beautiful Mother Nature and it was starting to bother her slightly. While Unki was writing, Nozomi glanced outside for a moment before the paper was slid back into her hands. With the assumption by track able, she must've mean the letter. With a soft nod, she heard Unki's next question and couldn't help but to be confused as the napkin was taken away. Not only that, she shoved the paper into the finger of her glove. Why, now, out of all times does she want to make paper shuriken? With a rose eyebrow she looked into the files. Sometimes people accidentally added extra paper where it's not needed and slid her a blank paper.
Nozomi smiled softly as she takes the tea and gave Unki a bow of thanks as she pulled down her mask and left it there. With a soft inhale, she blew onto the tea gently and took a sip. With the hot mug between her hands, she cannot help but to hold it. She was feeling a bit cold. "What do you want to do right now? We could go patrolling or head to the academy, I have a bit of work to do there." Nozomi questioned. They could go track the letter. Or go to the school and set up traps if Chinchin had agreed to her deal. The Uzumaki woman was hoping that Unki got the hint to what the two locations would be and what to do there. "As for what you said, isn't it same for all humans to be honest? Not just men. Women..." She leaned for a bit with a sly mischievous smile at the corner of her lips and a glint madness on her golden hues, "Can be downright cruel."
Suddenly the Squib would light up and make beep boop noises similar to those cheapo robo dog toys sold in the 90's when its name was mentioned. Simultaneously, Nozomi would receive info about her tracking technique. The letter was now no longer in the residential district. It had left, actually, it had left rather quickly as if something had happened that would require a quick escape. The black cloud district...a.k.a the slums...thats where it was now...and then...it would stop moving.

In a far off corner of the tea shop, sat a smol figure with an over-sized cavalier's hat bearing Arashigakure's symbol upon it. The mouse was simply enjoying a quite day at the Tea Shop, having returned to his duties as a Shinobi only a few days ago. From his vantage point, he was able to see the entrance/exit to the building, as well as the two females, and those around them, talking among themselves. There was no reason to pay too much attention to them, as Cashew was not the nosy type, despite his overwhelming curiosity for most things. However, his ears couldn't help but twitch beneath his hat at the redheaded female's comment about preventing some man from continuing to post pictures of her on the front page. These ears of his were just as much of a blessing as they were a curse. She can't be talking about...
Flashbacks from five years ago, that very sentence brought up an unforgettable memory of Akina-sensei's plea... 'You so much as say the first three letters of my name and I'll know.' ...to "him". Not even Arashi's Mousketeer coul muster the strength to think of his name, in fear of jeopardizing his favorite teacher of whom he failed so long ago. Not only her, but Haruko-sensei... and most of all, his best friend Sato. Cashew's failure, and that man's impact on all of their lives continues to burden his brave soul. Sato and his mother were gone from the village now, their only source of communication coming through letters. It wasn't enough for the mouse, but he was happy for his friend's safety. It was the only part of his promise he was - fortunately - able to keep. Akina-sensei and Haruko-sensei however, since returning from his... "sudden departure", hasn't seen them teaching in the Academy, nor hearing from them since his own days in the Academy. If this woman was talking about who he thought she was talking about, then Cashew wanted to help in any possible way he could.
Hopping down from his stool, he'd approach the two women, bowing respectfully. "Pardon me, m'ladies. The name is Cashew." Depending on how high up the two were sitting, a rounded frame a little under three feet would approach, appearing as nothing more than a hat and a pristine red cape. Upon looking up at them, they'd be greeted with beady purple eyes, and a face-full of fur. A mousy face. Having gone through the typical reactions that he was all too familiar with, Cashew steeled himself in preparation for sudden screaming or throwing of shoes, cups, giant spatulas from the middle of nowhere, and waited silently. Should the two women not decide to harm the shinobi mouse, he'd present them with a folded slip of paper from his pouch, which spelled "C H I N C H I N". However, they'd find out that these letters were not properly placed; scrambled in fact. "Does this name have any relation to the pictures you mentioned earlier? Please, excuse the puzzle." He'd speak to them in a tone only the two could hear, looking at them both, patiently waiting.
Unki truthfully just went on to make the little folds she said she would with a new sheet of paper. But the 'magic' to her paper folding was to the little notes she wanted to write in between, but really, she didn't get too far into the plan. The mechanical squib was making little noises upon mention and until it shortly began chiming off, beeping and lighting up, precious information about the moving letter. "Oh, well that was pretty helpful!" The woman gave an assuring pat on the robots head. "Helpful, indeed." The beeping robot ultimately sways Unki to delay her reply about their next step. In fact, she thought, how did the Squib’s tracking feature pick up on the letter? Unki found herself lightly tapping the Squib’s top-hat as she began to try to piece together possibilities. Did the letter’s recipient have the missing Squib? Her sights would swap about too from top-hat to teapot to an empty seat behind and over Nozomi’s shoulder with the bits of wonders tying themselves together and how she should relay the tracking feature which Toso described to be with each Squib.
Consequently, the timing of voicing her would-be suggestion to follow the Squib (unlike her initial thought to go to the Academy) an unfamiliar voice chimes in to announce itself. A sweet and simple introduction to a round little wonder to Unki’s sight. Based on the size, now, could Unki be blamed for mistaking the form as a talking cat? A fabled Bakeneko looking for trouble? Was something suddenly possessing Shion to send cats after them now? Oh, no, a mouse. A mouse? Unki turned her head to find its round and furry frame decked out in a hat and impeccable red cape.
The esteemed young woman wasn’t one who hated mice. Rats, even, were met without shrill cries. A shrieking gasp, maybe, but neither fearful or disgusted recoil would shake an empress of Unki’s prowess. But she produced no sound. Just felt tense.
Cashew’s careful presentation of simple letters scrambled on a sheet managed to click with Unki quickly and queued a sharp inhale through her nose and uttered in one, quick breath. “That’s the bottom-feeder looking to cause an international crisis.” Then with a huff she shut her mouth and frowned.

Suddenly, the little robot thing had started to make whirling and beeping noises as Nozomi became quiet. Her dislike for technology had improved tenfold just right there. Annoying little thing. While it was beeping, she realized that the letter had moved fast. Hmm. Either part of a sealing or the person who was holding the letter was part of the bloodline who was short and known for their insane speed.

Why was she not surprised? Someone like him could definitely live in the horrid place. A small voice was heard as Nozomi turned her head rather quickly to see where the voice was coming from and saw a mouse. She didn't react too much. Coming from Kirigakure she had seen odd and strange things so she was desensitized from unusual things. What an odd name though. Nozomi had to close her lips rather tightly as she pulled her mask back up to cover the lower part of her face to avoid saying a horrid joke about his name. He presented a paper as she took it and carefully opened the teeny tiny paper that would be fit for a mouse but not a human being. Squinting, she sighed softly towards Unki who was still rather bitter about this whole thing. "Unki-san, if you are patient in a one moment of anger, you will escape a hundred days of sorrow." Her voice was gentle, as if an old friend giving advice to another old friend. Her attention went back to the mouse,
"Yes. We are talking whether to trap him or attempt to meet him at the academy. I'm an academy teacher." Nozomi explained quick and in low tones to the mouse, very low that Unki may not be able to hear. Nozomi was hoping that his mouse ears would pick up on it, considering mouses had better hearing than humans themselves.
Ultimately a strange occurrence. The little Squib began to shake out of Unki's grip almost as if a strong force was pulling it. Almost like a sonar did it begin to blip responsively. Across from the Tea House was what you could say a curry house. A rather obscure one with an odd unpronounceable name. An immediate opportunity to follow the thing presented itself. It seemed no more hoop-jumping would be necessary by the seem of things as the perpetrator seemed to be right under their noses nearby or at he very least the squib accompaniment he had hacked.
Thankfully, neither female reacted as such that would cause the Mousketeer to take the defensive, and therefore was able to relax fully within their presence. Cashew knew that even after his time within the village, a talking mouse was something many still struggled to grow accustomed to. He, while renouncing his primal ways, was still quite sensitive to human energies, thus noting Unki's tension. Both she and Nozomi identified the name within the simple puzzle with some disdain, along with the intent of possibly capturing him. Nozomi revealing that she was an Academy teacher, only continued to remind him of his past failures, while fearing for the worst if this lowlife was arising from the shadows once again.
"I see... you must have replaced Akina-sensei." The second part slipped out unintentionally, but without any further faltering on his part, he quickly changed the subject. "Since you both have identified... him... I want to inform you that I am here to help." He spoke low, but decided to keep his explanation short. "I was tasked with stopping him five years ago, and failed. I was just an Academy Student -- perhaps I was biting off more than I could chew at the time -- but the lives of some people very important to me have changed because of my mistakes. I wish to rectify that. I have information that could be of..."
His furry little head jolting to the miniature mechanical creature in Unki's possession, reading into its reaction surprisingly quick as he eyed the building across from the Tea House. Had it any resemblance to the curry house he encountered all of those years ago, he might have recognized it sooner, but his nose ceased to fail him. Curry. He turned to the two women, remaining relaxed in his posture, "If we're going to move, now might be a good time. The man does love his curry..."
