Being a good person can have many definitions. We will know people by their fruit. In Matthew 7:22-23 many people will tell the Lord of the good deeds and miracles they did but He will reply that He never knew them. When we know the Shepherd's voice we can discern what we need to do in our life that is good and pleasing to The Lord. The key here is to know the prompting of the Holy Spirit and know His voice so we know if our interpretation of "good" is His definition of "good."
