A 5 Kage summit was being held in the village hidden in the leaves and news about Naruto reached Gaara's ears. Gaara tries Naruto's favorite ramen for the first time and then after the summit, Gaara realizes that he must give a gift based on his friendship and not as the Kazekage.

Shino and Kiba head to the bamboo grove to collect some honeywine for their gift to Hinata and Naruto. Shino has difficulty getting out of the forest because of his doubts, but once he was able to be confident, he was able to escape without problems.

Hinata finds out about the mission and the trouble Kakashi went through for her wedding, but after a while, it was sorted out and Gaara agreed to have some sand shinobi be on guard duty during the ceremony so that Naruto's day can be a joyous one indeed.
