Physical Description: Slight and short, a veritable wisp on the wind as she needs to be, Verica stands no taller than 5'3" but her big personality often fluctuates this perceived height at times with how she plays with others. Much like one would expect, she's a carbon copy of her sister, straight down to the small features of her face. All the better to deceive with really. Soft round face, big brown almond eyes and hair that she uses for her own interests, letting it hang to soften her features or braiding and twisting it intricately for more mystique. She has no skill in this, so it's dependent on her sister's willingness.
For so slight a person Verica is well muscled and developed, a life spent constantly moving has left her with little care in the way of fashion and more than a healthy dose of practicality. Something she can move in, something that will allow her to disappear into a crowd. For a show she might throw on something more extravagant but she still needs to move and dissolve. For certain uses she will mimic exactly what her sister does, an exact copy down to make up and clothing, but she's usually the one seen without sleeves.
Personality: Being as adaptable and ever changing as possible is one of the things that kept Verica and her sister alive, though thanks to Versha's intelligence they were spared more than one sleepless night of starvation. She's just along for the ride! Or so it seems, an ever morphing and developing teen that somehow manages to fit whatever shape her sister needs her to become to fit a role, Verica is there and with more than a little bit of energy to speed her along. Versha might call the shots but she's the distraction that drags her sister along, chomping at the bit of expediency to the point of nearly getting them in trouble at times. It isn't intentional but when a thought pops into her head she simply has to follow it, even if it might mire the pair in mishap. If she wants to see something closer, she'll touch it, if a person is a little too forward a fist might fly.
For the most part Verica can twist her way out of any sort of trouble that might come their way with her charm alone, and let's face it, she caused some of the trouble about forty percent of the time. A well placed compliment or hand, a gentle flirt and push towards what others might need that could get her what she wanted, these things along with her boundless charisma have shifted the call to arms against her before. And she is terribly flirty if the need calls for it. Men, women, anyone that walks on two legs above a certain age. She has standards thank you. Verica might be a bit flirty and shameless, but she does it for the good of she and Versha; if anything it's been more reward than punishment and certainly is quite a bit better than a knife to the ribs or any sort of brawl.
Sometimes life calls for a little bit of physicality but she certainly doesn't wish to take part in it and maybe that's what will give her sister more gray in her hair than Verica will ever have for many turns. Her arrogance keeps her from being the best, as she already believes that she is. Where her imagination will have her soaring and making some of the best plans, her insistence that they'll be the best and far outstrip anything her sister might develop will one day be her downfall. For both of them can scheme, come up with many ways to do things but she'll tell the world that she's the best at it and fools fall that don't listen. Or so she believes.
Quite often It's Versha's plans that they follow through with and that's just fine with her. Whatever her sister needs her to be, she loves her sister more than she loves life itself and would move the mountains of Pern to keep her safe and happy if she has to. While currently her sister may be the only one that Verica can say that about, there is room in her heart of hearts for more that she would willingly shake the earth for, she just hasn't met anyone in her life of travel that would give her a reason to be devoted to their life over her own.

History: First in line and don't you forget it, Verica was born just minutes before her sister but as she doesn't have the brains her younger twin does, she generally became a bit of a follower. Always ready to get starry eyed at her sister's plans and wisdom, though continuously managing to throw all of it to the winds on a ludicrous impulse. Their mother was a performer with a High Wire act, running all about Pern with a circus full of faces that rarely changed but were always willing to spoil two little girls, especially after their mother passed away. She had been everything to Verica for the short turns she got to have her but the other performers that had known her mother took she and her sister in with open arms. Nicknamed "Puffball" for being the 'softer of the two' despite this being incorrect, the girl learned all she could from them, especially when it came to anything thievish or underhanded. Sleight of hand, dancing, acrobatic tricks, how to charm people, and acrobatics galore, she was quite the performer herself before she was ever a teenager.
Working together with her sister once she was old enough, the two put on shows and magic tricks, always making certain to copy her sister's wardrobe for illusions. After so many turns working them out and with Versha's ideas, the two were quite good and drew large crowds, but Thread had a different destiny for the pair of sisters when it fell over one of their performances the first day. Family, friends, people who had innocently come to see acts performed, all cut down by Thread and those that survived were scarred physically and emotionally. Somehow, luckily or unluckily, Verica and her sister survived with only emotional scars to show for it and she was tugged along by her sister with the few possessions that they had. Traveling light was the most important thing when fleeing Threadfall.
Life wasn't terrible, though she deeply missed those that had been lost, as long as it was she and her sister, they could survive without too much of a struggle. If money was short, she had the wiles to still land them a room at an inn depending on the Hold or the sticky fingers to somehow come up with marks that they hadn't had before. Was everything she did legal? Not even close, but they survived and that was all that she wanted, for the two of them to survive against the odds the world seemed content to toss at them. While there were necessities and food that came with a price there always seemed to be some way to afford them all but as their travels took them to places that Verica had never seen before, recognizing almost instantly that her sister was branching out, their motto became "leave no trace" and so they were ghosts, only performing in new areas and never giving out a name unless necessary.
Once more life changed when a white dragon and their rider appeared, inviting not one but both the sisters to come to High Reaches as Candidates. While she was filled with excitement Verica could tell that Versha was not, it had never factored into their life that they might ever stand to try and Impress a dragon, but it meant not having to perform for marks and food anymore, to have a stable place to live. How could either turn that down?
Training turned out to be more lessons and cleaning than what she expected, but given she had learned quite a bit early on in life from the performers that raised her, none of it was truly hard. She was enamored with the dragons, gem colored flying creatures that seemed regal, if some of the 'lower ranked' colors and their riders were looked down on by the shining metallic dragons from the interactions she picked up. Whites by far seemed the most appealing, but it was that color dragon she'd met first in life and they were cute and small. So to stay near where she could see them for a few months, Verica trained and basked in the opportunity to eat regularly and sleep in the same bed every night again. It was odd not moving around, but she knew they could adapt to anything as long as she had her sister.
