Theme: Rose



Comments: “It is the time you have wasted for your rose that makes your rose so important.”

I knew I wanted to do the Rose theme as a dedication to "The Little Prince." If you haven't read this book, I HIGHLY recommend doing so. It's a beautiful story.

Don't let others tell you what you want to spend time on is a waste of time. I always loved this line from the book, it's one that can be read by kids or adults and enjoyed on both levels.

Theme: Crown



Comments: Alright... so maybe a bit of a stretch for the theme, but the crown actually is a major symbol of this game series (KH for anyone who doesn't know) And I was a major MAJOR fan of this friendSHIP for YEARS... (I still haven't played the last one yet though)

Comments: I LOVE these two dorks...so much. Of course they'd get shrine charms that would represent their love! XD

Trust me, if you haven't seen the series, it'd be hilarious... as they are COMPLETELY over the top together. (Victuuri ship- Yuuri On Ice)

Theme: Loki



Comments: ...My loki might not be the most common version of Loki. *coughTrickstercough* from Supernateral rather than the superhero movies... So, still a WIP, but I've been trying to get him to look as realistic as possible, it's been a fight to get everything right for me tonight... I know it doesn't seem like I worked on this as long as possible, but DAMN... so much redone time and time again to get it to look like the actor. (still not there completely.)

I kind of tried to do a watercolor/ Sumi-e style like the opening credits are done in for Mulan.

I lined the sketch of this drawing in two different styles, one simulating the sumi-e style, and the other a drier brushstroke style. I LOVE the art by MYCKS, and wanted to kind of try for a similar edgy sketch brush effect... mine isn't near as effective as theirs for the gorgeous movement they create in their pieces.

Seriously, Google their art if you don't know who it is. Amazing style.
...damn mobile ate the post style I had pasted. UGH
