tabMina stared solemnly out into the group she was assigned to. It wasnโt a particularly large group of people to work with, but these were the ninja she trusted the most to accomplish something as serious as this. โThank you all for coming here today,โ the girl said as she closed her eyes, covering her face with a stern expression. The shinobi crossed her arms over her chest. โAnd you might be wondering why youโre all here. Well, thatโs simple! The four of us have been tasked with an extremely important mission! That only the most trusted of shinobi can handle! Our numbers may be small, but I believe that if we put our minds and talents together, we can do anything! So!โ Mina unfurled her arm and reached behind her, slapping one palm against a large, wall hanging whiteboard. All it said in large, underlined letters was one thing.
Kotoriโs Birthday!
โTodayโs is Kotoriโs birthday, and weโre being tasked with throwing the best surprise party Konoha can offer.โ Mina would recross her arms as she continued her โmission briefing.โ Her, Inohachi, Shikarie, and Chosuke would all be grouped up in Minaโs own bedroom. The redheadโs room had a few bookshelves, with a few notable religious mythology books, a lofted bed with a desk underneath, and some sports posters hanging from her walls. In fact, on the desk beneath her bed, Mina had left some curling weights and an open book with a red pen whose contents were hard to make out, even with the circles made of red ink on the pages.
All five of the shinobi had the day off today, so Mina had asked them to come over to celebrate. But only the four of them were here, as the Genin had asked them to come early. Mina herself was dressed as her casual self, with a white basketball jersey (with a red 10) and some gym shorts, some kind of necklace that was tucked into her jersey. Her Forbidden Seal, in its Dormant Stage, was in full display in the curve between her left shoulder and her neck โSo whoโs with me?!โ She rallied!

Meeting up with Mina with the others, she was listening. Her heart dropped when she heard that she was going to go on a mission. No no. No more missions. Wait, why were they at Mina's house instead of the office to go on th emission? Mina continued, saying that they can do anything! Each second goes by, her stomach and chest felt tighter. Then Mina slammed her hand onto the wall, causing Inohachi to jump as she saw the words, Kotori's birthday!
A blink. Two. Three. Huh? Slowly, the feeling of dread started to fade away replaced with confusion. Then she railed, asking who was with her. Inohachi paused for a moment before a small smile could be seen. How sweet. This was very kind of Mina to think of others and make sure that they are happy. "I'll try! But I should go back home... I-I have an idea for Kotori's present... It could be from all of us..." Inohachi wasn't sure if Kotori would even like the present she had in mind. After all, not everyone likes photographs and scrapbooks. Inohachi realizes that she doesn't have much time either if the party was today as well, she wished she had more time. Ah well, at least Inohachi does keep up with developing the films.

Shikarie was making her way to meet up with some others. Apparently she has been summoned for an important mission. The way mina explained it to her she made it sound really important. Shikarie was honestly surprised to see Mina taking a leadership role of any kind at all, let alone a mission. As she met up with the group at the time and place Mina had instructed. As per usual, shikarie showed no enthusiasm in being there, she just looked as bored as usual. Hiding her eyes behind her bangs and all. She listened as Mina explained the "mission." Shikaried let out a large sigh, corssed her arms across her chest, and shifted her weight to one leg."Geez Mina. Did you really have to make it sound like a death mission?" She complained. It was supposed to be her day off. All she really wanted to do was relax under a tree, maybe even take a nap. She didn't even have the energy to have to plan a party."Isn't this something that should have be planned ahead of time? The day of seems kind of short notice don't you think?" Said said, not really answering her question. Shikarie wasn't even sure if she wanted to join, just seemed like a bunch of work. There's food preparations that will need to be involved, decorations, and gifts. Not to mention kortori, someone is gonna have to deal with that crazy energy. The more and more she thought about it the less and less she wanted to take part."Such a hassle...." she mummbled to herself.
