It is the finals in the junior championship and Trunks and Goten are perfectly even at the moment. The crowd is loving every minute of this fight as it is lasting longer than the rest of the tournament thus far.

Trunks becomes junior champion and Hercule is afraid to face Trunks as he should be the faker.

In the exhibition match, Trunks beats Hercule with one punch and then during intermission after stuffing their faces, the Z fighters run into the Supreme Kai. Of course, they don't know its the supreme Kai yet. All they know is that there is a fighter who is really strong who is a big fan of Goku.

The adult tournament pairings are made and Trunks and Goten disguise themselves to be mighty mask. They are going to be fighting a guy named Killa. But, in the first match, it is going to be Krillin against Pinta. Pinta is a big and fat guy who looks like he is from the middle east.

After Krillin's easy victory against Pinta, Piccolo faces off against Shin whom Piccolo discovers is the supreme Kai. Therefore Piccolo forfeits the match and Videl faces off against Spopovich.

Spopovich turns out to be an immortal just toying with Videl in this match. He is showing the crowd just how awful a fight can be.

Spopovich beats Videl and Gohan takes her to the infirmary for treatment while Goku goes to get the senzu beans from Korin. Korin senses danger though as was plainly obvious at the tournament.

Goku got some senzu beans from Korin, which after a meal, he gave the beans to Gohan. Gohan gave a bean to Videl, which made her better. Then, Gohan had been recognized by his classmates, which made him feel bummed and then to make matters worse, Kibito wants Gohan to reveal that he is the gold fighter as well. Piccolo reveals the identity of Shin as the Supreme Kai, which the fighters in the waiting room save for Jewel, Killa, and Mighty Mask are shocked. Mighty mask wonders why Gohan is acting all mysterious though and the crowd wants some action.

After Gohan transforms to Super Saiyan 2, Yamu and Spopovich steal his energy using a syringe type of device and the Supreme Kai allows it to happen because a greater threat is about to surface and it will be up to the Z fighters to stop this creature from surfacing. Shin explains that there once was a wizard named Bibidi who made a creature of pure evil and destruction known as Buu. Buu destroyed planet after planet, and when it was time to relocate, Buu was sealed within a ball. Over time, Buu had remained dormant within his ball on earth, but now, thanks to Bibidi's son Babadi, Buu can be revived and Earth might go bye bye if Buu is not stopped.

Our heroes arrive at a cliff close to where Babadi has his ship and where Yamu and Spopovich have landed. After the energy was successfully handed to Babadi however, Yamu and Spopovich were killed. And on top of that, the king of the demon world named Dabura has been brought under Babadi's control.

In order to get to babadi, Gohan, Vegeta, Goku, and the supreme Kai must defeat a fighter on each stage of Babadi's ship. If the Z fighters win, they advance. However, the more damage Babadi's henchmen delivers, the more energy is sent to Majin Buu.

Vegeta easily defeats Pui Pui in stage 1 and now its Goku's turn to fight Yakon at stage 2.

Since Goku discovered that Yakon is a being who eats light energy, Goku feeds Yakon more than Yakon can handle, thus making Yakon go boom. Now its Gohan's turn to fight.

At the tournament, Hercule suggests a battle royale between the remaining 5 fighters where almost as soon as that began, Killa and Jewel were out of the ring by Mighty Mask and 18. 18 and Mighty Mask are fighting while Hercule watches in horror as he feels his championship is soon going to go bye bye.

As 18 and Mighty Mask fight, 18 discovers that Mighty Mask is really Trunks and Goten, and thus Mighty Mask was disqualified because he was 2 people. Trunks and Goten flee to who knows where to escape trouble from their moms. Meanwhile at Babadi's spaceship, Dabura just finished his meditation and is ready to face Gohan.
