tab The remains of a once-bustling residential area, now reduced to a wasteland. Now nothing grows here; the past is preserved under a layer of glass and the future is warded off by the glow that has settled on this area more strongly than most others. Once, a long time ago, the wraiths of the city's inhabitants pantomimed their old lives, but now not even they remain. This land rejects life and death equally.
tab Among the bones of the lost buildings and the glowing rifts pulling the area apart sits a single intact estate, its nameplate reading "Miyamoto". A half-dome of glass covers it on the side facing the pit at the center of the village. It's a simple enough matter to get in elsewhere, as whatever walls once surrounded it have been mostly worn away. Inside sit a few buildings: a workshop, filled with equipment that hasn't seen maintenance since the village's fall; a warehouse, filled with raw materials yet to be pilfered; a large central house built in an architectural style not native to the region, its roof collapsed; three smaller houses surrounding the main house with similar appearances and states; and a wooden shrine, placed haphazardly in the middle of an otherwise barren patch of land at the front of the estate. Of what was once surely a sprawling garden, only a few plants remain, waiting to crumble to dust at the slightest touch. The dessicated carcasses of a few exotic animals litter the grounds. Crystalline chrysalises of Wakeners dot the area.
tab Of all the ruins in the former village of Sunagakure, this is perhaps the best preserved. Everything is mostly intact; even under the gables of the collapsed houses, what items aren't crushed are perfectly preserved. The area is a time capsule to before the destruction of the village, practically begging people to come loot it. No one does for one simple reason: a white-clad being known as the "Saint of the Misplaced Shrine" kills anyone who tries.

tab • Miyamoto Estate - A glass bubble that surrounds the ruins of an old estate, almost like a macabre snowglobe.
tab • The Devoured - A collection of houses that have been remarkably well-preserved, thanks to being trapped in a sinkhole underneath a thick sheet of glass. While it is possible to get down here (which is especially easy via a vent in the Angul Spires), it's difficult to stay for very long without special protective equipment. The air has remained stagnant since the disaster that consumed Sunagakure, making every breath more difficult than the last.
tab • Center of Commerce - A pile of rubble, atop which sits half a steel frame dome. Ironically, the glass that once filled the gaps of the dome has long since shattered, making it the most glass-free area in the entire area. Beneath the rubble there may be goods left over from the days when the building was intact, but it's unclear if digging down there would even be worth it at this point.

tab • The Saint of the Shrine - A mysterious figure rumored to haunt the area.
tab • Rising Souls - Vaguely humanoid masses of mana and radiance that sometimes waft out of vents. They feed off of the mana of living things that are suffering from radiation sickness, sucking out 20 Mana per post from anyone in combat with more than 3 doses of Radiation active. Once they have absorbed at least 100 Mana, they can begin using the abilities of anyone they’ve fed on. Once 150 Mana has been absorbed (regardless of their current amount), they gain a physical skeletal structure that can be destroyed via non-magical weaponry. When their form is destabilized--either physically or magically--they expel their remaining mana in a violent explosion. Many of these have fully manifested in The Devoured.
tab • Radiant Fog - This land and everything in it has been stricken with a cursed light that brings warmth and illumination while destroying everything inside it. 1 dose of Radiation is gained every 2 posts spent here without protection.

tab There are no rules worth noting at this time.

tab • Bloody Bone Shard - A bone taken from the physical body of a Rising Soul. The bone is comprised mostly of spiritual energy and has been stabilized with mana, making it very useful for locating, drawing out, or even just feeding spirits. It can also be used to mask mana signatures, as the bone shard will draw in any excess mana its possessor leaks.
tab • Old World Artifacts - Artifacts from before the region became a radiation-blighted wasteland. Found primarily in The Devoured and the Miyamoto Estate, these artifacts are of potentially high value, but are heavily defended by the creatures in the area.
