Crisp and cold white puffs of air came from a blue kitsu every time she breathed. her face was rosy from the cold, but she didn't mind. She rather preferred it, although it was early morning right now they'd arrive at their destination some time during the night once they began. The journey south would take a bit as they visited most of the smaller villages nearby too.
Snegurochka, having come from seeing their father, she surveyed the sleds with the sleds each with a bag of gifts. Everything was starting to come together. The maiden smiled at the little guardian beside her holding a list. "Devitsa?"
"Everything is ready, my lady." the guardian smiled brightly "You're sisters are on their way," the guardian said over looking the list. "We also had a request for help with the sleigh's sent out." so whoever was going to come would be coming as well.
The maiden smiled back at her guardian, they'd been together for a long as she could remember, she didn't know what she'd do without her. Snegurochka, was a bit nervous this was the first year they'd do this without their father's guidance. Their father seemed to be doing well but he could no longer make the trip south. Snegurochka always went out every year with her father, she was quite skilled when it came to hiding her tracks. Snegurochka placed a paw on one of the sleighs and smiled for the fondness of the memory. Her ears twitched as she started to hear the others approaching.

Isolde had been resting in her room. Or more like, sleeping in her room, this entire time. The place was so big, no one would know if she took a little nap before they had to get to work. Not that she slept any better now than she had during the night. She still tossed and turned so much, she might have achieved a 15 minute nap over the course of hours she'd been there. She so desperately just wanted a little bit more sleep than the two hours she had gotten already. But it didn't seem like it would be so. At least laying down so long with her eyes closed had left her with a feeling of being somewhat rested.
Unlike her sister, she had not gone on the rides with their father. She was always more interested in the workshop and the creation of making something from scratch. She was quite good at it by now, having practiced so long. She didn't have the desire to adventure or the brain to take inventory. The only thing she was suited to this "family business" of theirs was to help with the creation process.
Groaning in displeasure, Isolde rolled over onto her stomach and opened one eye, startled by a pair of pink eyes staring intently at her. She quickened back like a frightened animal.
"You will be late!" her little Guardian piped up with a smile, before hurrying from the room to do whatever it was she had been doing before. The Kitsu wasn't slow in following her out, going all the way out the front door without missing a step. She slowed down before she reached the meeting place, so no one saw her hurry and suspected anything. Her rosy cheeks could just as well have been from the cold. She could have walked from the house leisurely.
She was about to speak when she caught sight, or more like the sounds, of bells, followed by an unfamiliar Kitsu. Clamping her mouth shut, she edged towards the sleigh, hiding most of her body behind it.
