Physical Description: Tall at 6'2", lean and rangy. His complexion is fair, large blue-green eyes set in a boyishly handsome face, all button nose and stubborn mouth and long, strong jawline with the faint beginnings of stubble coming in on his chin. He keeps his thick, straight, dark brown hair long, to about the middle of his back, worn artfully messy when it isn't braided back out of his face with only a clump of chin-length fringe left loose.
Left to his own devices, L'ojz dresses in the manner of other trendy upper-crust young people in High Reaches Hold: layered and fur-lined, slightly disheveled, often gender-ambiguous. He dresses down a lot for chores and studies, neat shirts and trousers and boots, with a sturdy, stylish fur-lined coat his parents gave him when he was Searched.
Personality: A dyed in the wool flyboy, L'ojz's life revolves around DRAGONS. Even before he was Searched, he was obsessed with dragons and dragonriders and everything to do with fighting Thread. He's still obsessed, and is always first to volunteer to help bathe and oil dragons especially after Threadfall, talking about tactics and chatting up the dragonriders for 'Fall stories. Being a dragonrider is the only thing that he has ever wanted to be, and he is not afraid of doing whatever it takes to achieve that goal. The ends ALWAYS justify the means.
He's a hard one for others to figure out, that's for sure. Emotionally detached and inscrutable at times, his dry sardonic wit and charm makes it difficult to tell whether he is kidding or not. He can be standoffish and aloof, yet other times he can be impossibly needy, pouting and demanding people drop whatever they are doing and pay attention to hiiiimmmmm. He has learned to rein in most of his worst behavior around the Weyrlingmasters and is a model student (not an act; he really wants to learn), but around his fellow Weyrlings, all bets are off. And while he enjoys the company of other former Holder kids, L'ojz prefers to slum it with the Weyrbrats. They're a lot more fun.
Beneath the spoiled Holder brat exterior lies a deeply romantic soul; the songs and stories he's heard about the great dragonriders of Pern's past have impacted him in a profound way. Despite understanding the gravity and danger of being a dragonrider, L'ojz has romanticized it in his mind, not to the point of ridiculousness, but to the degree that he sees being a dragonrider as a calling, a duty to protect and save Pern. He's a romantic in other ways too -- while he's never had a partner, he sometimes fantasizes what it would be like to woo and court someone and treat them like a lord. The right boy has never come along yet, though he has had a few crushes, but he knows what he's looking for (or so he thinks), and when he finds them, they will be like the stars of his eyes.
L'ojz does have a bit of that Holder privilege thing going on; he used to be able to get away with whatever he wanted because he was Daddy's Favorite. His sense of personal responsibility, though, is far too strong now to allow him to act like the world owes him -- when he makes a mistake or does something wrong, he owns it. Being from High Reaches Hold, he naturally has a strong sense of loyalty to High Reaches Weyr; he believes that it was their strict, regimented, traditional ways that saved them from Thread, and he is sworn to carry those traditions on.

History: Born and bred in High Reaches Hold, the child of a Hold official and his wife, Lojze was the light of his parents' eyes, being their first-born son. They had great expectations for him, but he had goals of his own -- becoming a dragonrider. He was given a dragon plush as a young child and dragged it everywhere (he still has it amongst his personal possessions); he would listen to the Harpers sing about the legendary dragonriders of old, wide-eyed and enraptured. Young Lojze was obsessed.
He was 13 Turns old when Thread returned to wreak havoc on Pern. From the safety of the stone keep he watched the dragons from High Reaches Weyr fight the deadly silvery menace through the heavy glass windows with a mix of fascination and terror. When a Searchrider came a few days later, his excitement over finally seeing a dragon up close and personal was overshadowed by the fact he was just a bit too young yet to be Searched. His disappointment only made him more determined than ever to make his dream come true.
Lojze grew into a typical upper-crust teenager, callow and charming and vain and a spoiled brat, but he never lost sight of his ultimate goal. It was a goal he kept safe from his friends, unless one of them brought the subject of fighting Thread up, at which point Lojze would smugly and with great detail discuss the topic. Eccentric amongst his peers, he didn't care what they thought of him. He knew he would realize his dream someday; he just had to wait.
His dream came one step closer to reality when he was finally Searched at age 16. Lojze fully appreciated his luck and what this meant, and made a real effort to adapt and learn the ways of the dragonriders so that he might one day join their ranks. And after nearly a Turn on the Sands, he Impressed green Cibelloth from Banshidheth's and Balizarth's clutch just before Turn's End.
Other: L'ojz becomes even more outgoing after Impression, bordering on flamboyant; once a tongue-tied youth when it came to flirting, he will now make his feelings and intentions known.

Personality Look out, the life of the party is here! Cibelloth will bowl you over with her relentless good humor and a desire to live life to the fullest and have fun doing it. Vivacious and lively to her core, her personality practically sparkles and her eyes are almost always whirling blue and green. She cares about others deeply and worries that they take life too seriously -- and she's not afraid to dive right in and shake that up! If she hears about someone having a bad day (and she will, she's an incorrigible gossip), she will dance over and somehow entice them to forget their woes and frolic with her. And she'll keep at it til they do.
She's a clever girl, is Cibelloth; she knows how to get what she wants from Hers, and from most others as well. All she has to do is turn on the charm and do something adorable; she can also talk her way into or out of just about anything. Especially if it involves boys! She loves the boys even before she's old enough to rise, and makes no bones about letting them know it either. Cibelloth knows that Hers likes boys too, and she's always scouting for him like a dark green matchmaker, looking for boys that fit what he's attracted to (tall, dark, breathing) and making subtle hints to their dragons that hey, I got a boy for Yours… She dreams of one day finding The One for L'ojz, and on that day she will be the happiest dragon on Pern.
Cibelloth is a bit too romantic at times; she is also intent on finding romance for herself, and has a pie in the sky view of what a romantic relationship would be. She has a tendency to build metaphorical nests in the sand with every male that catches her, and is disappointed and saddened when they don't turn out to be the romance of her dreams. When this happens, the drama queen comes out; she'll mope and pout and drag herself about for a day or two before her natural good nature and desire for fun emerges again. She is also a bit flighty and high-strung (big surprise), and tends to dart from one activity to another without much warning. Her startle reflex is off the chart, and it's only a matter of time before some prankster startles the wits out of her.

Physical Attributes: Softly snaky and delicate in build, she is still well-proportioned and designed to fight Thread. She carries herself like a dainty coiled spring on the ground, prancing as she walks and looking ready to bound off and do something fun at a moment's notice.
Additional Notes: She's a daredevil in the air, darting and swooping around the larger dragons; her flying is precise, though, and she knows where she is in the air at all times. Her flame is long and surprisingly aggressive, though it comes only in short spurts. She is relentless in her pursuit of Thread and flames it with extreme prejudice. This girl prefers big, husky boys to catch her during mating flights, though in truth she'll allow just about anyone to catch her.
Why Me: Cibelloth and L'ojz are two peas in a pod, cut from the same cloth, the perfect partners in crime and romance. She saw in him a fellow romantic, and that spoke to her hearts like no one else did. Her high spirits give him the courage to approach the latest object of his affections and be bold in his flirting. She knows he has the potential to be the star of any room he walks into, and her lively nature bleeds over into him -- no more loitering on the sidelines like an enigmatic brooding teenager for him, no! Cibelloth knows he needs to be the center of attention, and in her he will find his life-partner, completely and utterly devoted to him. He'll need no other (except for a romantic partner, of course).
