Physical Description: Takes after her mother’s build and is short and curvy, with more weight on her thighs and hips. She has tawny skin, dark hair, and dark eyes. She’s usually seen with a smile on her lips, or staring absently into space.
Personality: Though a quiet girl, Liniyah’s the sort to kill people with kindness. It doesn’t matter how nasty or cruel they might be, she will never rise up and respond with anger or hate. Life can be hard enough, and having grown up with her mother’s temperamental dragon, she personally knows that one all sorts of things can be upsetting someone deep down. Her kindness should never be mistaken for weakness, however, and she will not hesitate to gently, but firmly put someone in their place if they seek to take advantage of her. She is even-tempered, and those who seek to get under her skin will find themselves in for a challenge.
For as gentle as she is, she can often come across as distant, and has little problem being off by herself. She’s more than content to watch from the side-lines, and often doesn’t choose to participate in big social activities. It isn’t that she’s unfriendly or shy--Liniyah just prefers to watch, because it helps her notice when problems arise. If someone seems to be struggling to fit in, Liniyah has no problems coming over to introduce herself and perhaps gently steering them into a group that she thinks they might fit into. She’s a perceptive young woman who doesn’t hesitate to extend a hand to those who might be struggling, but her tendency to watch rather than participate means she has few close friends. As a result of this, Liniyah is extremely awkward in social situations. If someone approaches her outside of an initial meeting, or when she’s helping them out, she clams up and really isn’t sure what to say. She eventually ends up excusing herself from the conversation and retreating, sweating bullets all the while.
Her mother is her biggest support base, never coddling, but always rooting her on, and Liniyah flourished under such attention. She knows that some people wait a long time for their dragon, but at 20 Turns already, she’s begun to quietly fear that she will never be as great a person as her mother--if she even Impresses. Thoughts of aging out plague her, and she struggles with the knowledge that maybe she just isn’t enough. She wants so much to be a person that people can rely on, and often overtaxes herself. Slowing down and taking time just for her isn’t ever on her mind, and Liniyah is determined to be of use.

History: The only daughter of Gloryah of Green Zeith’s, Liniyah grew up with all the love and support any child could ask for. It certainly wasn’t easy to be both a dragonrider and a doting mother--indeed, no one would have batted an eye if Gloryah had given the child to the creche. Gloryah raised her little girl with all the care in the world, encouraging her without spoiling her. Liniyah grew up idolizing her mother, and even to this day, she remains her biggest hero. Her father, L’mior, was a much more absent figure in her life, though he did make sure to stay in touch and visit her now and again. Liniyah never held it against him, and was quite content dogging her mother’s heels whenever she was able.
When she was of age, she became a Candidate--and those first few nights being away from Gloryah and Zeith were rough ones for the quiet girl. Though she overcame them, she never quite formed solid, true friendships with the others and seemed perfectly content with that. The day Thread returned was the most terrifying one of her life so far, as her mother, Zeith, and the rest of High Reaches immediately responded to the silvery threat. Though no one she knew closely died that day, the losses were still devastating after such a long time of peace.
As the Turns have continued to pass and with no young dragon to call her own yet, Liniyah’s began to wonder if she’s made a mistake by not taking on a craft--just in case.

Name: Ziolioth
Personality Ziolioth is a hot mess. Rambunctious, wilding, and a rebel without a cause, it is highly unlikely that anything short of a gold's command would ever truly set this blue in line. And oh, is he happy to be a blue. Sure, all dragons are fighting dragons and worth their hide to have, but being a small chromatic (especially at High Reaches) means as far as Ziolioth is concerned nobody expects more than the bare minimum from him! Yes, he is free to be himself without much more judgement than a barked order to get back into formation. Sure, he can get in trouble, but as far ahead as this blue has looked the worst thing that could possibly happen to him is that he won't be handed responsibility he doesn't want.
Unfortunately, there are a lot more things that could possibly go wrong and Ziolioth lacks the foresight to see big troubles on the horizon. He simply cannot picture disasters he doesn't see with his own eyes and even when given proper warning of them he will simply dismiss or forget about them time and time again. Given multiple chances to get his act together, he'll bungle them every time and then hold his hand out for another. Truly, if given an inch, Ziolioth will take a mile.
It isn't entirely clear if his foolishness is the cart and the unburdened daring is the runner beast that pulls it or vice-versa, but there is notable daring to this blue who will both desire to show off as well as pull off risky feats that save another's hide. Sure, he likes looking cool and does have a certain disregard for the rules, but seeing everybody home and unharmed at the end of the day at the cost of a little extra gusto suits Ziolioth just fine.
He is also a highly social creature, preferring being within a group despite his rambunctious lack of consideration for others at times. Ziolioth will easily be the sort to befriend anybody who gives him even the briefest time of day - and then drag them into his shenanigans.

Physical Attributes: Ziolioth is huge, but significantly lacks bulk. He is built much more like his smaller siblings with slim grace. His body is notably short compared to other dragons of his length with more length in his neck and tail.
Additional Notes: Ziolioth is unsurprisingly a reckless Threadfighter and will constantly veer into the airspace of others without thinking about it or flame a wingmate because he wasn't paying attention! This is something his rider will be tasked with preventing and she will have to stay on the alert!
When it comes to Flights, Ziolioth will love to chase but always be surprised when his bombastic energy nets him a caught green! Frankly, he'll be just as surprised to lose. Romance and devotion won't come easily, but he is not limited by the color of any potential partner's hide.
Why Me: Ziolioth's choice is perhaps surprising to anybody who would think a high energy, troublemaking blue would have rather a partner in crime. The truth is, Liniyah is the perfect partner in crime. Where he lacks foresight and will get himself in over his head, Liniyah is calm and perceptive and can pull his tail out of the fire. Where she fears measuring up and keeps her distance from others, Ziolioth will soothe her of the need to care that she is anybody but her most perfect self and draw her closer to her fellow Weyrlings and riders. With a little bit of work, he is certain to help ease the burden Liniyah has put on her own shoulders to truly embrace herself. In return, Liniyah will help Ziolioth truly shine as exactly who and what he is.
