Who decided 9 AM was a good time for classes? Alarick hated the early morning, and wrote the beginnings of his lesson on the board, before shrugging and sitting back down in a chair at the front of the room. These kids were NEWT level, they should surely know a first year spell, and if not... well he had listed the book that they could find more information on it with. This year was more of a review for them he hoped, and he had hopes to run more practical things with them as the year progressed.

He closed his eyes and tried not to fall asleep while he waited for the students to get in.

Once they were all in their seats he opened his eyes and welcomed them,
"Good morning students! Today we will be discussing Wingardium Leviosa. Please raise your hand, and tell me something to put on this board about the spell."

Alarick had yet to make his chalkboard into something he loved, he was almost to the point to have it spelled perfectly when he left for the year, and even though he had been back for a while he had to start from scratch on his spell work on it, curse their temporary charms teacher having wiped the board clear of past charms.

It was just past winter break, He was concerned for his seventh years, they had a lot of work to cover in not a lot of time for their NEWT exams. Sure they'd do well enough, but overall? He was just nervous for them, not that they were nervous.

"Hello Joey!" He smiled at his Seventh years as another entered, "Why hi there Rachel!""What a great day it is today Monica!"
