Samatha would delve down into the medical labs she had built for two purposes alone. Number one is the take the sick and injured into the labs, learning by other medical staff and such of how to address such issues. Second is to study the use of medical technique of how she could apply it to her own life, perhaps It would do her a lot of good. Far as the basics go, Medical Ninjutsu requires a lot of chakra control and precision in its use which requires mastery. Shrugging her shoulders on this matter because even though the lab was built under her directive, didn't mean she was a medical student or a master of its technique. It was some of the staff that encouraged her to do so anyway so she can learn for herself.
The first room she wondered into, was a few civilians, not of the Zaishin variety or born there either. The first person appeared to be his fifties, with a deep gash on his right shoulder, and a deep cut up his left calf. The second person was a young man, looked twenties, had a couple scratches underneath his right eye but simple enough to take care of. The third one was a young girl in her early tens, some bruising on both fore legs, hard for her to move around in her condition. "Samatha, I need you to carry her and use your speed to take this young girl to the next room over. We have helpers over there who are training like you and have the simple techniques to take care of the bruising, handle it please." Samatha nods to the instructions.
She would delicately lift the young girl and with the Taijutsu training she has put herself through, her strength and speed serves well. Getting her to the next room was simple enough, as some staff members would wave her over. "Alright, set her here, nice and easy." In front of Samatha, was rather a very comfortable bed. The sheets of the bed and pillows were a shade of violet, the girl's particular favorite as her eyes would glean on it. She would nod at Samatha to do what they said and Samatha without a second to pass, sets her down. "No wonder why they listed you as a Emergency Responder, you move quick and also very physically able to carry a human being. Fulfill your tasks and over the course, we will give you access to the Medical Study Room."
The person who spoke to Samatha is rather a doctor, someone who is a good key person to witness her quick reaction. Even though the young girl isn't in life danger, the task alone was to test if her being a Emergency role is well worth her station. The man is impressed and nonetheless facially is thinking on what to say to Samatha or what to instruct her to do. "Recently, in one of the other wings of the lab, one of our emergency units, like yourself, sprained themselves in a hustle of a patient. Currently has to stay put and recover, why don't you head to that wing and pass on my instructions of what they should do for the time being. Though when you deliver the instructions, say it like you are giving the order, though after that, you are the one to provide more instructions to any quarries that come up. Now go."
The doctor would hand Samatha a piece of paper, very important instructional document of a sort, it addresses that every patient should be tended to double time. With the emergency unit in that wing sprained and needs to focus on nothing more then recovery, without Samatha, the wing's patients may not get the provided help they need. Samatha is the supporter, essentially the person that has to be quick and precise with her instructions, facing all issues without losing focus or ill timed responses. She would proceed to the west wing prepared to face what she must do.
As she gets into the west wing, the staff in that quarter greet her and one of them says "Oh goodness, glad you are here, the doctor of the south wing informed us of a sent Emergency Unit, are you it?" With planned thinking and looking to them with fierce determination says "Yes i am, i have instructions and its this, double time on tending to the patients that are currently injured or sick. Act snappy, we can't waste time in resolving their issues, answer with due haste and comfort them as well, now move!" With that she claps and with the sudden sound echoing through the wing, the staff gets on the move.
Within the next hour or two, every patient has been tended to, though a issue pops up, not a injury or sickness at all. One of the patients is a child, as of late she couldn't rest as she should and persisted that she needs something to help her fall asleep. Samatha could hear her speaking to the staff and demanded to see her mother who is reported to be in the south wing. Its the very wing she left on instructions from the south wing doctor to help with matters here. "We can't do that, your mother has a lot of injuries, and needs a lot of rest. You don't want to disturb your mother's rest do you? Don't you want her to get better?" She would pout and cross her arms with tears in her eyes, its very clear she wants her mother.
If there's anything Samatha can do about this, is to talk to her and comfort her like she is a mother. Due to seeing many sights in Zaishin of parentage, she could have a good idea of how to comfort this child's needs. "You should listen to what they are telling you but if you so insist, why not talk to me for awhile until you can fall asleep?" Samatha would say in a gentle tone, and despite that the child continues to pout and humph even in her direction. Samatha would continue to smile at her as she would continue "What's one of your favorite past times you love doing with your mother?" For a single instance, Samatha caught whiff of the happiness in the girl's eyes but goes right back to pouting again.
"Why do you care?" She would replay with a mean toned question, not hesitating or unrelenting in the pouty behavior. Samatha would think on what to say and within the next moment, dawns of a answer arrive. "I care because if you don't think about your favorite past time and ponder on the memories of that hobby, then you may not cheer up. Perhaps in this way you could embrace your mother in this way from here within memories like that." The girl's expression lightens up a bit as she would curl her lips to say "Kick ball, i love to play that game with my mother. She once told me i should exercise on a daily basis and keep myself strong. So i found kick ball very fun personally but even more so when its with mom."
Samatha smiles listening to the girl and begins to share something of her own as well "You know, i remember sitting around and spending time with someone very special to me. Sure we ran around the village, played tag even, i have great memories of that. Its when you think about those activities and memories, you think about the bond that doesn't break or even distant itself from you." Samatha would bundle her right hand and place it over the spot where her heart is. "Your mother is with you, even in a medical facility like this, a mother's love is never erased from her children. So remember that and you may believe what i am telling you."
The little girl thinks about what Samatha has said and looks her with gleaning eyes "You really believe that, is it so viciously true that a mother's love is that deep?" Samatha would smile and nod at her without question, with the girl looking away to front of her feet. "Then ill start believing that, thank you miss, for tending to me and my mother." Samatha smiles as she would grin happily and say "I am no doctor little one, but i am one that has to hustle and give directions to all medical staff. I am sure your mother is fine and well, so please, rest easy with that in mind." Samatha would begin to get up and as she would grab the bed sheets, the girl beat her to it, with a big smile and quickly throws the covers over herself. With no word said any further, the girl goes back to sleep but this time she is breathing slowly and sleeping soundly.

One's gentle fist application allows them to reduce 1.5 times the amount of chakra spent in a juken strike instead of 1.25. After the little girl went to sleep, the soothing nature of how it was handled settled into the atmosphere. Staff of the west wing felt less tense and more grateful that Samatha was here to assist both in medical and with emotional things like this. "Gee, with how you handled it, its like you have done that before." Samatha would look back and smile, thinking of where she had seen situations like this. It brings her back to Zaishin, a place where a lot of turmoil and children wondering in the streets. She can't count the many times she took a gander and do everything she could to help every child.
Another thing that comes to mind is how her friend Lyx treated her, not like a child but as a women. Lyx wouldn't hesitate to comfort her like she did the small child and give her a pep talk. Yet so long awhile ago, she lost another person, someone she couldn't even help that time. Haruka indeed was her name and she was her student. Sadly Lyx isn't here to give her the much needed pep talk, but yet she reaches up to touch her eye patch. One of the staff walks over to her having a concerned expression.
"Something on your mind Samatha?" The tone behind it seems to imply they are familiar with Samatha's history. Must of investigated her background as well, otherwise, no such hinting tone would of been breathed. Samatha would nod without saying a word, which the staff member continues with a suggestion "What about you go to the Medical Study Room and have alone time with books? It may help get your mind off of what's bothering you." Samatha's expression is pretty well piqued about being told to go to the Medical Study Room for knowledge and alone time. Without further ado, she would head in the direction of the North Wing and deeper in, enters the Medical Study Room.
Though before she left the West Wing, she was given a note by one of the other staff members about the Study Room. Its another suggestion to look at a certain book in the study room, its focused on the ocular. The eyes can be very interesting with the genetics, some issues or illnesses can be discovered by looking at the eyes. Discoloration, bags underneath the eyes, near sighted and far sighted as well. Even some of the section surrounding the ocular studies target certain categories or clans such as the Uchiha. This quite surprised her, the fact that the staff has already come across the Uchiha and may have information documented and collected in this section.
With her status and having access to this room, it tells her that all information on the Uchiha medically is here. She would proceed to grab her first book off this section and sits down to read it, zoom focused on the text. First volume of the Uchiha medical records, it talks about various Uchiha that came through here. Mental stress, emotional break downs involving the "Curse Of Hatred" or more the Sharingan Awakening. It even mentions about Uchiha from time to time have suffered short supply of energy due to not being used to the Sharingan, given food pills and drink in response. Even required to sleep several hours and got evaluated on how they felt after.
The first volume was focused quite on the Sharingan and its usage for first time awakenings and how steadily it matures over time. As it matures, the Uchiha learns techniques faster and it seems not at all taxing any further. In result, they become smarter and stronger the more times they fight and observe the enemy's techniques. Thus allowing them to reflect and potentially even cast jutsu from the eyes which suggest more abilities of the ocular then what meets the bare naked eye. Further pages is information that Samatha already knows, it takes fierce training and strong experiences to awaken the Sharingan and to advance it.
She would return the book back to the section where she pulled it, and moves to the next volume. The next volume focuses on deeper studies of the ocular which is deemed known as the Mangekyo Sharingan. Under medical watch and its abilities like its base stage, exhibits abilities stronger then before but causes pain within the eyes. With much medical analysis and treating the patient of such eyes, its very connected to blindness. Proper treatment takes time through the use of modification in use of chakra upon sight of such patients, particularly the Uchiha needs this treatment more then others.
On the side collecting information further, the Mangekyo Sharingan is connected with what they found before. Emotional break downs and mental stress can be worse with a Uchiha of this particular ocular change. Some rarely handle it better then others but nonetheless aren't excused from blindness in the requirement of strong abilities. The base of the advanced pair of eyes is awakened through loss, which would explain obsession of revenge or hate in general. These individuals of this caliber had to be moved to the North Wing for mental treatment above what they normally get.
Mental treatment involves seeing doctors on a weekly basis and talking about their problems, some instances they got physical and had to be restrained. Some responded kindly to the mental treatment and worked on adjusting to their new environment within the North Wing, only a few managed to overcome the Curse Of Hatred. Any that overcame the Curse Of Hatred was moved back to the West Wing for medical treatment to any other injuries, sicknesses and pep talks if possible to further coping. Yet Samatha found the section she was looking for, the details on helping Uchiha recover their sight.
Her eyes glean as she would study the technique's text, as it was delicately written in strong detail. It was very clear whoever saved the information and documented everything here wanted to be sure any newcomers to medical science can further in studies and ability. Though to Samatha, it must of taken test runs of this technique to be sure it worked. If its here written, then it worked as it should by invention for someone like her to find and study. Once she was done reading the volume, she would turn the book back to the section.
