Lately I've been drawing prompts just to finish the event which... doesn't align with my event goals. I wanted to create art I liked. Or at least focus on creating WIPs of good art I can work on another time and... instead, I've been churning out random, weird, quick art. Which is fine too... I've just gotta switch my event goal XD;; ... I don't have time to put actual thought into ideas and shapes and composition, etc. So that's fine. I'll work on improvement/good art some other time. XD So now... fast, crappy art, it is. B]

Comments: If anyone has paid a little attention, they'll recognize that I repurposed my lines from day 23. XD But time spent doesn't matter and I'm in ghost mode and it's my art, so it doesn't matter. <.< >.> I reused the lines, slapped a different label on it and started coloring. c:
It's a WIP, but idk if I'll ever go back to further render it.
Phrase is: "Don't worry, beer happy"
I wanted to try to make a "heaven" ish kind of pun but... being happy is the closest I could get. XD;

Comments: I don't like inking in a smooth pen as much anymore so I went with the dry ink pen...
When I was halfway done, I realized some might think this looks rough. This isn't rough. My sketch is rough. XD;
Idk why I drew this... I first started drawing a rabbit with a carrot but I thought this had to be a character + background. And my carrot patch garden looked too simplistic... so I switched to mice and potted plants. But then it looked like the mouse was leaving home, so I wrote "lunch" on his lunchbox to hopefully help lock in that he's not leaving for good. XD; idk. I had to go with a quick sketch to finish this on time... so I didn't put much thought into it.

I have plans to also color the others... I just can't justify the time on it today. I've got another project with a hard deadline that has to get done. Soon sooooooonnnnnn. I already have plannsssss for them. XD

I drew the Sleeping Beauty cake (I know, rude to call that masterpiece a "fail").
I substituted different candles because I didn't feel like drawing a mess of candles. I also didn't feel like coloring after drawing all that frosting sooo... I stopped. It's better to leave this for a day when I feel like coloring. I started out with the plan of a lineless drawing, but I liked the look of my "nice sketch" so it might stay lined. We'll see what happens when I eventually feel like coloring.

Comments: WIP. I didn't have much time to draw.
I applaud the event for not using Easter-themed words. But... I was in an Easter-ish drawing mood.
Sure, bellflowers could've been worked into some sort of bunny or basket drawing... but I also happened to have just seen a Food Paint Challenge (IG) right before drawing. So I suddenly only wanted to draw that. And gave in. These are such good lighting/shadow color studies -- I love the lighting (not drawn yet) of the light rays bouncing through the gummy candy.

Comments: I could've cleaned this up, but I got this far and didn't feel like playing anymore XD;
I also messed up with my layers. I had the stripes merged into one layer. But I had 3 different layers of shadows below the stripes. But then when I shifted the shadow layers up and tried to multiply over the stripes (so I didn't have to color the stripes)... it messed up my shadows. All would've been fine but one of the shadow layers was semi transparent so it's suddenly all the wrong shade...
It wouldn't take long to fix (redo those layers cuz it's now a mess), but it's not worth it.
