At a arena like place, there has been a nickname given for a elderly man. He has made very strong display of goofiness and dancing like moves capable of jumping about with elegance and precision against his opponents. Even doing what is called the "Moon walk" in order to dodge attacks but in a very goofy fashion by doing the move. Sometimes, he would do a up hanging foot like kick at his foes, tapping their face with the front of his foot. Not even flat, but just like the front edge, almost humiliating to get hit that way.
Some would yell at him, calling him a fool to fight in such a manner, while others are just wondering how he's doing that. Being a fool but being so precise on his target, almost as if he isn't even trying but at the same time, kicking and punching his foes further and further back. Like they are interfering with his stage performance, thus him doing twirling blade cycle kicking, making and attempting his opponent to jump back and stay on their feet. "Yeehee" Or "Heehee" or "Shamone!" can be heard in the arena as people fight Steinn.
Each time those words are used by him, Steinn gets hype of energy, his movements seem boosted each time. His feet and fist go in a hurry with the excitement, leaving opponents dazzled and defeated each time. Those words some are writing down, thinking if they hear them while facing him, they best get back from him. Even then, Steinn has used Ninjutsu to catch a fleeing opponent, sometimes even the same jutsu twice with less fatigue. Steinn having two hearts in him, his own and another, he is able to express Suiton and Doton very easily. Its almost hard to predict him but there's still pattern to his attacks. It doesn't mean Steinn can't switch up at all, he has shown he can very easily do that however he tends to not do so because he wants to give a performance and fun with his opponent.
Dancing with Steinn is not just a normal dance, its a dance of agility, skill, and being observant of his next move. Its like nothing but a game to him, a game of chess and guess. Like its some hats game, something being hidden by a grandmaster at the circus. Pressed to not take him seriously can be a fatal mistake by many as the crowds would continue yelling and cheering for Steinn eventually. How can you take a man seriously when he's flocking and dashing around in dance about the arena? How can you possibly not laugh when he goes heehee or shamone? Even the best warriors should be able to tell when someone is pulling deception like scales over another. That's a daily thing with Steinn, always attempting to play games in order to get a enemy to drop their guard against him.
Men even grew so tired of facing him and his silliness within his style of fighting, that they walk away or end up entirely exhausted thus passing out. He is a very unusual sort, but rarely does get Steinn to be serious which ends up with a lot of regret. It almost seems to blackout like darkness flows over the land as a opponent finds themselves on the ground scattering away. Scattering away like ants, so desperate to get away from Steinn, with his eyes glowing harshly in the dark. Anyone that's faced Steinn truly ends up being found with their hearts gone, a sign from Steinn to not push him to kill but push to have fun.
Over time as he fights in the arena, winning matches, heck even losing some as well, people start to believe he isn't a normal fighter. Its not about money he seeks, the hearts of fighters IS what he is after, looking for ideal ones that will complete "him". Its like some crazy robo-combining ruckus, one that involves the heart of fighters combining and submitting to someone like Steinn. Even with him being a caring, loving person, he furthers his darkness in order to protect others, even if it being a forbidden technique. One that actually allows him live as long as he has a supply of hearts in his body.
The gladiator training is very intense though, even with two hearts in his body, that pump with plenty of life. Before he joined the arena, he was looking for a way to become more efficient in his Ninjutsu like he is with Taijutsu. Some shape or form he was seeking some new way of power until he discovered a poster. The poster mentioned new fighters are needed, and any of them that exceed very well, will be trained closely with a master how to better use Ninjutsu. That's why he entered the arena, to gain that level of mastery with his ninjutsu side.
The kind of mastery that can leave so much more unpredictability in his style. The way he could drink himself drunk into drunken fist in all silliness or use mach fist in a fit of seriousness and conk someone hard in their big forehead. Imagine being able to effectively use Ninjutsu just as well as Taijutsu that it can scare his enemy a bit or even potentially catch them off guard. With his normal like carefree self, it would be hard to not underestimate his ability or to possibly think he is a donkey brain person. Either way, choosing to have a gourd of wine compliments his suit and manner of seriousness when he comes to it.
He has used Drunken Fist a couple times in his various fights, the fighters that came across it blows realized quickly. The deep realization, even under the drunken stupor, that its a very dangerous style to be parred against. One that compliments his particular silliness but can quickly get brutal when Steinn wills it to be. Its like for a second, he's a goofy kid that knows no better about the harm coming to a person but a demon in the next. The very style that allows his silliness and ruthless to come together in a beautiful fusion of horror.
Even some of his foes, tried to stop him from drinking his wine in the gourd he carries. Every fight before, he gets it refilled so that he can continue pleasing the crowds in his usage of its techniques. To Steinn, if they are smart, they wouldn't let him get a drop of wine in his mouth, using his lightweight stature to his advantage, it fuels and brings quickly the Drunken Fist. The wine he often carries is very high in alcohol level for that purpose to overwhelm him right into using Drunken Fist. Instead of a drink, its more of a cork remover to release his inner strength. This is only one side of his inner strength and ability with Taijutsu. If he can't afford nor given a chance to use the wine to manifest his true power, then he will learn other Fist styles to release the potential.
Sometimes he finds himself in his arena fights, chuckling as they attempt to prevent him from drinking his wine. They can totally forget he has the Mach Fist known in his depths, a style that can exceed his strength and speed intensely. Totally opposite from Drunken Fist, instead of erratic attacks and frantic ones, Mach Fist allows him to focus his killing blows. Mach Fist is often used as a distraction in his arena fights, something to take his opponent's eye off of the times he pops the wine in his mouth. If he can keep his opponent's awareness and focus away from his gourd, he can break a sip in between without them knowing. Sneaking in Drunken Fist has been a dashing trick of his, one that can catch even the most experienced fighters off guard.
He walks away from his fight, his fighter bruised by his Drunken Fist who got slandered in thinking he was going to use Mach Fist the entire time. He would even yell "What are you even thinking doing dirty tricks like that?" Steinn would turn with his goofy looking expression, behind his happy smile. "Oh Shamone! You should know fights are so much more then who does what, its about having fun, getting stronger, and learn. Well toodles, YEEHEE!" He would do so as he walks away, so hyped, he would almost hop away like a deer with a mix of his sly backing away moon walk. Moon walks all the way back to his seat, awaiting his next opponent who dares trend on him.
Another opponent that has been told off in a very nice and fancy way along with his moon walk exit. Almost like to tell his opponent he isn't strong enough, best for him to leave and fight another day. There's some that get Steinn's mercy upon them, being spared in some glorious to silly fashion, while other receives demonic like brutality. Not demonic as like he's possessed by one of the tailed beast rumored to be around but just how his personality shifts. Where what couldn't be possible to be conceived and birthed in his actions, easily appears within his brutal shift. When silence comes in the form of no "Shamone" or "Heehee" Or even "Yeehee", is a time to run and cut your losses.
Anybody that refuses to cut their losses and face Steinn with resolve and determination to bring him down has another thing coming. Steinn doesn't take it as bravery, courage, or even warrior like to face him when things aren't going their way. In his brutal view, its just another coward wanting to die, even when their heart could be ripped from their corpse and become part of him. Though even someone that charges him without tactically thinking, could be weaker then him by a far margin. Him being realistic in this way is like him trying to warn his opponent, continue fighting him and death could be on their door. Its like he doesn't want deaths to happen because of him but if they continue to pursue combat with him, soon or later, they will be slaughtered to deter pest or people that annoyingly avoid his signs of mercy.
In the arena, he has had that few occasions, and even when he's being vocal, they continue to charge him, insult him for trying to find a peaceful way to resolve and save their life. Instead of still trying to save their life, he ultimately gets serious and brutal, rushing them to death's door. To him by doing that, he would force his opponent to realize this is something they could of avoided but continued to pest him. Death would be the last thing they taste before their hearts being ripped out, either shredded due to having no use for it or do have use for its power and knowledge, absorbs it into his body as a new heart. He has wondered from time to time, why do new and young warriors rush so eagerly to die? Is it because they have a bad life or is it just because dying brings glory to them? Either way, its far beyond him, he would just fight them and hopefully during the fights he's winning, they come to their senses and back off.
In truth, he isn't a bad guy, he cares a lot for people and wants to help them in anyway he can. Though he can't help the ones that continue to pursue him in order to do harm to him or worse, trying to kill him. Even that could prove pointless to those who don't realize he has multiple hearts in his body and he can move them around within, preventing the loss of them and not dying. A man that can continue surviving like he does must adapt his mind, body, and power. Training is important to him, to cultivate the darkness within, in order to master the ability of stealing hearts among other benefits that come with.
As time went onto in his matches, he learned more and more about himself with this kind of power. Wielding Earth and Water chakras together in a sync of two hearts gave him rather a nice perspective. Being almost like two people in one is amazing actually, it quite cuts out the restriction not being able to cast a certain style. Doesn't even need something to copy Ninjutsu from someone when all he has to do is take the heart of the person and learn it like he is "them". Though in truth, its not even shapeshifting, just flat out heart ripping.
Its why as he works for the Hidden Rain and its Regime, he must get stronger and stronger as time goes on. Maybe he would get considered one of the most esteemed shinobi and one that could be some emergency back pocket move. Ninjutsu is his sole focus and research topic even, to discover on far he can expand it to his advantage. For right now, two hearts is about what he has, a count of single death can be avoided and rise but after that, if he dies again, he's done for. Constant resupply of hearts could be important to have and the work in the arena will surely suffice. Gladiator fights could secure funds for such a project or start a business with someone in order to make that happen.
Thinking back, soon or later, even if he was able to spare someone, someone else has to pay the price. The price that requires and grants Steinn to continue living with old and fresh hearts, the constant cycle of life and death. The true pain is having to seek hearts out and take them from anybody very strong, even innocent shinobi. In some form, his brutal view does help at times, specially when he's actually ticked off. After a little while, he learned the mastery from the Arena Master how to be more efficient with repeating Ninjutsu. With that he moves onto the next thing for him to train into, the ability to increase his instinctive reflexes and how to weaponize his voice.
After leaving the arena area, after mastering the way of using ninjutsu twice without paying double in chakra, he moved onto improving his voice. Growing up, singing and dancing is his jam or coffee like in the morning. Its the hype of such movement in body and voice that gets him going. It allows him to exercise energy and entering into a state of relaxed mind, where his true self comes out. His goofy, caring, silly, kind, and considerate person comes into play, the type of person that wants to save as many as people as he can. This is polar opposite to his brutal view and serious side of himself, the person that would trash and dispose any looming threats. As he pranced about in synced like dance, with moon walk in the mix, he would sing to himself.
This allowed his vocals to begin to expand and learn the very potentials of substituting his voice over hand signs. The ability would even allow him to have his hands behind his back, a gesture of relaxation and not worried about having to use his hands. If he ever had to use his hands for combat, there's a sense of urgency and reflex that is surely required. Though this would very well help him produce his ninjutsu almost instantaneous or even subtle like if he wanted. It can prove well in both high profile situations or low profile situations when discreet is required.
There can be shinobi missions that require such discreet measures, like him speaking poem or in song. Viable things that are very well known to be harmless and intended to be written down somewhere. Within any performance type of person, if advanced, can have ways to weaponize what you are speaking or singing. In this case, Steinn is looking for that kind of ability, one that would allow him to weaponize in a show biz fashion. Though to be warned, won't always appear in a musical like form. He may speak it into a poem or just almost simply say something about a jutsu he has in mind. Even a potential conversation can be weaponized against one's opponent given the right training.
He plans to do a mix of hand signs and voice to throw off his opponent and even adjust his speed of activation. Timing can be dangerous against any opponent if used right in any given accordance. Though that doesn't mean someone should outright say that Steinn can't possibly use this tactically. Its very possible to use it tactically, even let it blend into the world of illusion. No genjutsu but acting like a fool in the midst of his performance could throw his opponent for a loop or understanding. Either way, confusion and deception utilized correctly can really add the element of surprise into his sudden attacks. It may not work in succession of each attack, some point the ploy could be averted and figured out.
He could potentially use the voice training to also expand his trick basket, either use it to distract his opponent, freak them out, or even feint them. He could almost voice a Ninjutsu but in truth attacks them multiple times with Taijutsu while their guard is in the wrong positioning. If he advances in the voice training very well, he could expand it to Genjutsu as well, using his voice to bring illusions upon his opponents. Though Genjutsu is surely not his best but that doesn't mean he will be a flunky about it. It would be like being a high school drop out, a embarrassing foundation of ability.
To use Genjutsu in combo with his singing, or speaking poetry, or even just having a conversation, it must match into what he's saying very well. As if its a Ninjutsu coming towards his target like normal but against multiple targets could be tricky. Genjutsu can be more of a bonus kind of thing to be able to be used within voice, a underhand trick that could possibly not be expected certainly from him. He is best to continue ACTUAL ninjutsu attacks, ones that come from the five basic chakra natures. However it won't always work, so in his speeches and singing, he will have to get creative to throw his opponents off.
Over time, he will be able to mix in even using dance movements while he's speaking, creating a immense offensive and defensive measures on the fly. It would be like kind of performance, almost like he has done it a thousand times over. The more he develops the methods of singing, dancing, speaking together with his normal ways of fighting, the more creative his tricks. Back in the arena, he won often because of him keeping his opponents on their toes, unpredictability shrouded him constantly. With training his voice and dance moves, he could make himself even more unpredictable, most certainly with alcohol in his system. Even then, what if he is able to reach a point, all he has to do is speak a few words or more to cast a Ninjutsu? Could this prove to be advantageous at times and other times a disadvantage?
He can't forgo hand signs completely, if he did that, his unpredictability level would just shrink down. He would become predictable and most likely someone would aim to some how stop his mouth from moving. So using both methods will ensure unpredictability and also preventing the use of his Ninjutsu to become null. Using Ninjutsu and firing it is his specialty, He's like a elemental turret with smaller turrets attached to it, that can be at will ejected out to help. They are truly mask beings but they all can use their elements independently of him, which makes it scary to fight him alone.
Having a lot of ways of fighting his opponent is very essential, such as being able to use both voice and hand signs to initiate a Ninjutsu or any other chakra strict based art. He could even combine different types of tactics to be able to do both, such as using his main bloodline to grip and restrain someone while voicing. All it would take is for him to use the extending of his limbs to put a target out of physical range into far range to be able to hurt them without hurting himself. Weaponizing his feet movements, and delivering attacks like a pro while he's at it could be called impossible by some people. Even if it was implanted in someone, it would take awhile to get used to its power and what it does to the body. Steinn is a natural with it as if he was born to have it and master it. Imagine those extensions may seemingly make him slide across the dance floor so easily as if a normal person could do it but he does it discreetly.
A magician doesn't show his tricks or his hand to his opponent so easily. To him, it requires his opponent to think a few steps ahead before engaging him with such a bloodline in his system. Its not normal to find a person who can have up to five hearts and almost appear to not die at all. Steinn wants to live that theme of immortality however, it requires the cost of someone's heart every time he dies in order to replenish and keep it up. That is a very deep secret, and one he wishes to maintain closer to himself and not known. Though among his comrades, they may figure out that soon or later by watching him fight and witness death of him.
Though as he works up his dance moves mixing in the hype of the energy of his three words, he hopes to build up the theme of the fool. The theme that many glaring at it and underestimate so badly, that it completely lowers their guard. Yet in a single like switch, he goes from the fool to the demon, who can cause fear in many, causing some to be ignorant in bliss about him. Why would a demon fool around and not brutalize ones that don't leave it alone? Its like disturbing a bear when it comes to not listening to Steinn when he suggest to leave him alone if he ask for it.
Steinn in his learning and coming up with different dance moves as well as using the moon walk, its like being a rose for him. Beautiful, elegant, graceful, but the brutal side of him is like the thorns on the rose. Not careful with a rose can n** you with its thorns, causing a lot of regret and pain. Though it would be hard to associate when he's alright to pace with and when to back off. That's why in his mindset, he much prefer to warn someone then to let them continue prying unknowingly pushing him. If he is using his hype words, everything is swell and perfect to speak to him and have fun. If not, his seriousness wears on his shoulders and social interaction could be advised against.
Its like he becomes a demon in his own right when he's upset, angry, or serious. In those set of emotions, he could threaten to crush the voice box, spine, etc around the pharynx area. His particular area to make his mood clear when to not be messed with, his taijutsu training quite could put him on par with a demonic like warrior. Even in a dance within the mood, he could reflex and aim with a hand around someone's neck, instinctively. In the back of his mind right now, even in the middle of his dance training, he acknowledges that there will be times dancing has to go out the window for a moment. Dancing is his favorite thing to do but at times of serious confrontation, he must present that serious front authority and tense wise.
Even at this point of time, his voice training comes in handy with a tense kind of thing. Voicing his seriousness can result in a Ninjutsu firing intentionally frying, shocking, or blunting someone. His voice can essentially become the brutal side's weapon while the dancing is more of the relaxed way of defending one self. That kind of defense serves more of defending oneself without injuring the other, almost lightening up the combat too. Maybe Steinn is trying to get his opponent to dance with him and forget the conflict with him.
Steinn could very easily say conflict is in every time period, no matter how much time passes, no matter how much peace obtained. Darkness, Hate, Love, Light, the four words the come together to cover the very corners of this world. Why do you think a dancer, bard, and gladiator like Steinn wishes to expand the dark powers he has? To him, it seems like he has to answer to all enemies with the power of darkness, even if forbidden and can cost him potential friendships. Not every person is going to value the fact he fights hard to improve the tendrils in his body so he can extract hearts better.
Though why he does this, with all of the voice, movement, dancing training despite the natural power he has within? Is it because he isn't strong enough? Is it for his own personal glory? No, its about everyone he cares and loves, including anybody that is outside that circle close to him. Even if he slowly becomes a monster, he will jump into darkness with all of this training behind to give children, teens, and adults hope in a dark world. Will he attempt to steer people away from doing what he is? Yes he will because as you slowly give yourself to the darkness, the more the influences of the dark world can linger over you.
It almost can become a song about hopping into the fire to face the unknown. The very unknown that could devour him into its belly and never spit him back out. Though instead of letting that happen, he will consume it instead into his being, HIMSELF becomes the darkness, the very darkness that exorcises the evil out of a dark world. If criminals everywhere fear him, they should because he will come for them, one by one, hunt them down. He will become the Shark Of Darkness, the very shark that dwells both in land and water, one that can extract hearts without even sinking its teeth.
If he must take on the beastly form of a shark in order to save children and bring them a new day, so be it. If it also gets him called a demon, he will bear it for them and protect them as a monster. Whatever burden comes his way, he will settle into it, hanging on his shoulders but doesn't stop him. Often the strength of will is the very thing Steinn does appreciate and he will endure, help it grow within his heart. Criminals should take all warnings about Steinn, he will leave them in fear and helplessness as he swarms them with attacks and devours their hearts.
