[Drako Damone] vs Tiger Hat

[Drako Damone]

The lights in the arena dim down as Ain't About the Money hits the PA.

Ahhhh, ahhhh
Ahhhh, ahhhh

blue and white lights begin to flash while a thin layer of smoke comes across the stage and down the ramp. Flames spring up along the set and the crowd begins to cheer

If you know like I know say
Ain't about the money, it's about the power (say)

Finally the former World champion steps out into view and the cheers grow louder. Drako Damone looks out over the arena for several moments before starting to make his way down the ramp

"..making his way to the ring, from Saint Louis, Missouri, weighing in at 200 pounds, Drako Damone!!"

Drako stops at the end of the extremely long ramp and look around the arena for a few more moments before he turns and walks up the stairs and into the ring, moving to the center to stretch out right into his old pose. Pyro shoots off behind him, a nice flash to the past for him and he straightens up again

The Soaring Dragon walks to the corner and steps up onto the second turnbuckle, covering his eyes to look out into the crowd of cheering fans.

Oooh, we're makin' moves
You're only doing what my power let you do
You see that money isn't everybody's thing
When it comes to power, can only be one king

Finally, Drako steps down and removes his vest, getting some stretches in as his music slowly dies out and he awaits the arrival of his opponent

After a screeching shout, “Boy Be A Tiger” began to play, and a man dressed in orange garb walked out onto the ramp. He had two very noticeable features... An orange striped tail, and a hat shaped like a tiger... the Tora No Boushi... the TIGER HAT!

Boos began to rain down on his as he made his way onto the stage. As normal, he reacted very little. However, his usual look of stoney resilience seemed to be showing cracks, almost as if Tiger was distracted. He slowly made his way down the ramp, occasionally glancing to his side at the crowd as he walked forward.

Reaching the ring, he rolled under the bottom rope, nearing the centre upon finishing his movement. He pushed himself to his feet, and in a low stance span towards the far corner, where he would wait for the bell to ring.

Drako brushes his hair back from his face as the bell rings and he focuses in on his opponent. The Soaring Dragon steps up to the center of the ring, waiting for Tiger to meet him

Tiger approaches Drako, ring centre, ready for battle. For a brief moment he feels relief that he was no longer facing down Apex; that maybe, just tonight, he could enjoy a classic wrestling match with a worthy opponent of esteem. That relief, however, was shortlived, as the dragon's aura radiated from him. Tiger steeled his nerve, bending - but not buckling - at the knees. He raised his arm, offering a test of strength to his opponent.

Drako goes into the test of strength, electing to feel things out with an opponent he's never really faced. But he'd never been quite that patient, so he'd quickly attempt to catch Tiger's arm and twist it around behind him in a standing hammerlock

Tiger was not ready for Drako's speed, his arm being wrenched behind him. He tapped his shoulder as he dropped his stance, attempting to alleviate the pressure being put on his joints.

Suddenly dropping low, Tiger placed one hand on the ground, and would flip over, relieving himself from the hold, landing skillfully on his feet. He would try to spin underneath Drako's arm, reversing the hold, and putting the pressure on him instead.

The feeling out process was always interesting for Drako even after all this time. It's refreshing when an opponent knows how to actually wrestle. That being said, having his hammerlock reversed in a very similar manner to how he would do it isn't the most fun, as now he finds himself in the same hold.

Well, this isn't the first time, so he ducks low and under to attempt to free his arm and once again transition behind Tiger, though this time, it would be to catch him in a standing side headlock

The Dragon's brilliance was shining through even in the early stages, as he seamlessly transitioned the hold into a side headlock. His knees still low, he placed both hands on Drako's back, and would push outwards, hoping to force him out of the hold and towards the ropes.

Tiger Hat was definitely on top of his game, wisely managing to shove the Soaring Dragon off to the ropes. Drako rebounds back and attempts to take him down with a quick shoulder block takedown  

[Extremist-Saint-Joey]

Tiger was taken down to the ground, landing on his back with a thud. He lay still on his back, body tense, mentally preparing himself for the dragon's next move.

That was a quick takedown and Drako has been around too long to think it'll last long. So he backs up to hit the ropes, reasonably sure that Tiger Hat will be up again as he'd rebound back for a second shoulder block takedown

Tiger rolled over to his front as Drako came back towards him from the ropes, tactically staying on the ground so as not to collide with him again. Expecting him to run over, he primed himself, ready to push off the ground should he do so.

the Soaring Dragon can see where this is going and as expected leaps over Tiger as he rolls to the front, running to hit the opposite ropes. On the rebound again he'd aim to catch Tiger once more on the rise but with a clothesline this time

Tiger Hat pressed the ground, pushing himself to his feet. Having a split second to react, he ducked underneath the clothesline, running towards the rope behind Drako. On the rebound, he would go for the high(er) road, aiming a running cross body at the dragon's midsection.
