Ok, I'm part of this guild, so that means that I know a thing or two about graphic design, web design, and coding, BUT I'm not good enough to do what needs to be done.
Anywway to continue, I am in need of someone who is excellent with HTML, CSS, graphic design and hopefully PHP and SQL for programming an up and coming gaming and anime information site.
Requirements: HTML CSS Graphic Design PHP (optional but preferred) SQL (optional but perferred) Able to meet a deadline which is already quickly approaching (Hopefully)
Perks: yourname@sspin.com email address A personal blog It can be used on a resume Maybe some free stuff Maybe cash
Of course being an entertainment website we are also in need of writers.
Requirements: Ability to write with a firm grasp of the English language (Samples required) Access to new video games/anime Dedication Personality
Perks: yourname@sspin.com email address Maybe a personal blog Probability of free stuff in the future Probablility of going to conventions as press (For those hard to reach areas) It too can be used on a resume Maybe cash
Ok, I thnk that's everything. If you have any questions or are interested in either position you can post in this thread, send me a pm, or e-mail me at aceknight21@gmail.com. I hope to hear from some of you soon.

The main goal is the W3 CSS goal of seperating design from content. you have lost me on that question there... what exactly do you mean by "doing a layout in css" do you mean like using 0% HTML? or 0% graphics? I'm kinda lost as to what you mean.. However, it looks like some people more qualified than me are here... I don't know if you are looking for multiple people... if so, can you make your quiestion slightly more clear? ... the reason that I don't understand, may be tied to how I learned HTML and CSS... I never have taken a class and I didn't own a book about either untill I knew most of it already.. I used to disect websites and play with the code I found until I understood it.. sweatdrop Basicly, I learn what I need as I need it... if you want to see some of my older things, you can look up rainedragon on www.Daydreamgraphics.com *note* the broken code on some of my designs at daydremgraphics only appears on the preview version.. some documents get dammaged when they are forced in to DDG's frames, and I don't quite know why... The files I sent in and the downloadable versions they have there work fine... it's just like soemthing gets funny when they edit the preview versions to be in there frames..

There are scripts out that allow you to add galleries. And there are ways to modify bulletin board scripts to make it look like a huge database, and there are scripts that allow you to make huge informational content sites and manage it. Perhaps you might want to look into finding these scripts and at least paying for those?
And yeah, I agree with Chisa there, you're asking a lot for something you're not even sure if the person will get paid for. I know for one thing my sister gets paid a nice sum for website layouts coded in PHP that's easy to manipulate and various graphics. ^^;
Good luck~

The whole "maybe" thing is what would turn a freelancer like me away from such a deal...I'm multi-tasking four projects at $50/hour each during spring break and living in Las Vegas you learn to steer away from shady deals quick.
