My bestfriend left the city a year ago, not intending to actually move, but situations resulted such that she would not be able to return for a long time. Now she's back for a visit and we're supposed to get together today. Haven't heard from her yet, but I knew that she was getting together with another friend first, so hey, things happen.

At least, I hope, the plan to go to our local queer club will still happen. Some 5 other people were supposed to also be contacted for that, and even if they can't come, I would like it if we could at least meet up there and have some fun catching up on each other. They have the best music at Diva's, too--better than any place in our city.

It's 1600. Maybe she'll call by 1800. ^_^ Either way, I'm hittin' the club tonight! Gotta put some dancin' shoes on!

This summer, I'll be seeing all my old friends again. I haven't seen them in three years. I'm hoping it won't be too awkward.
