Rayne's Room
The front door of Rayne's room reflects the rest of the room rather well, dark, but elegant. It is dark red mahagony with a gold plate centered on the door reading her full name. The door nob is gold as well, with an odd shaped lock underneath it, created by her and rather hard to pick. It makes it somewhat obvious she doesn't trust people very well.
Rayne's room is more then the door though, even if few see what's beyond it. Her room could actually be more accurately described as a lair, as it is very dark inside. All the walls are painted black, making the room feel rather opressive or never ending, both at the same time. The ceiling is covered in stars though and painted with clouds. Anime and fighting tornament posters cover her walls. The carpet underfoot is dark red and very soft.
Dark red velvet curtains cover her windows, but when the curtains are aside it reveals a beautiful view of the sunset and mountains. To the right of the front door is a smooth mahagony dresser with a medium sixed mirror placed above it, then a bookcase packed with fantasy and medevial books. There's also a lot of mangas like Helsing and Vampire Hunter D to be found in those shelves.
Next to the bookcase and window, kind of crammed into a corner is her stereo, which is constantly playing loud music from anime shows or hard rock or metal bands. On the left side of the room is her bed, kind of tucked into a nitch from the front door, as the bathroom is located closer to the front door then the bed. The bed is dark red, like the rest and covered in thick blankets. The most surprising object in the room can be found on her bed though, a stuffed teddy bear that actually looks relatively new. It was a gift before leaving her home town.
Next to her bed on each side are night stands. On the window side is a lava lamp and her current read, and on the door/bathroom wall side is a clock and picture of her parents, supposedly her real ones. They looked truely demonic, but also truely happy with her in their arms. She couldn't have been over a few weeks old when that picture had been taken though. This room is Rayne's sanctually and very dark, but not in an absolutely evil way.
((Small note: Rayne's window is usually open or at least unlocked, for some reason.))
