Being right next to an airfield, it's the ideal place to go if your looking for a flight.

Currently guarded by a watch dragon who communicates with cue cards, though in reality she takes the role of welcoming newcomers and giving directions.

But be warned: do not eat anything grown in the Trans Formations or you will be cursed with this terrible affliction.

The mayor is a seven year old girl whose office is filled with dolls. Her assistant is a puppet who watches the girl and keeps City Hall running. Having little direct control of the city, the place manages to run things by not running things, letting the clans, individual governments and other factions do what they please while playing behind the scenes to make sure the people of the city are managing well. The building itself is fairly clerical, combining a tourist stop with an old time government building. It makes for an interesting picture.

Considered one of the worst foul-ups in the city's own design, the mess interconnects with everything else leading to much frustration. The people who designed it all seek rapid employment in an unmarked corner of the world.

Home to many monsters and powerful beings, Dungeon Square was created when a government that had temporary control of the city hired an artist to redesign a shoddy town square. The end result was catastrophic... Maybe they should have picked an artist who actually drew noses above mouths and not the one who drew melting clocks and projectile pocket change...
Kinnick High A school that boggles the mind. It was originally created to train students in the use of their innate powers, but due to a strange mess involving a transdimension fender bender, each classroom opens up to a slightly larger location, mostly of people wanting to kill said students. The building itself is dark Gothic in style, consisting of a fenced property with a garden, hedge maze, and pond. Many rooms have balconies, and a special nullifier on the grounds prevents special abilities such as turning into smoke to leave a room or killing with one's mind, only adding to the mystery of the murders...

Artisan's District Formerly a slum area, the place was restored by the Jarians and DGL, who continuously squabbled over who controlled it until the Ten Organization stole it from them. It is filled with amazing artwork and is a home to performers and singers of all sorts. Due to the feuds, the district has been supplied with intense security by the Jarians, zombie architects by the DGL, and a broad education system by the Ten Organization. The place itself is continuously changing, thanks to the artisans' constant improvements of the area's appearance.

Shortly after doing so, the place was destroyed by a meteor, a flesh eating monster, zombie hoard, orbital laser, nuclear attack, giant earth elemental and a plague within a span of five seconds. What's left from that is quite a sight.
Jungle Island Cliche An island possessed with a malignant mind. Nobody lives on this island sitting in Byako waters. Magic and technology cease to function within its vicinity. Clan Descriptions
Kabina Kingdom The Kabina Kingdom... An ancient kingdom on the clouds that claims to be descended from the angels. It is a monarchy ruled by a family who is said to be chosen by God. The royal family took an oath to rule wisely for the people and were blessed with great power. This kingdom has existed in a magical prosperity with their great paradise in the clouds, welcoming anyone who comes with open arms. However, it has had its troubles as well. Occasionally it has come under attack, but any would be conquerers were deftly beaten back by the winged fighters of Kabina, the great warriors who defend the kingdom with their lives and the powerful magic users in the royal family who have unmatched defensive power. Despite their ability to defend themselves, they are at heart a peaceful people who would like nothing more than to get along with others and help people resolve there differences. At present, the kingdom is ruled by Queen Aki Kou-Ko, who has sealed Kabina's gates for fear of attack from outsiders.
Jarians A clan that has been in Byako for thousands of years. It has changed its goal with every new leader, some with good intent, others bearing ill will. The few things of the Jarian Clan that have remained the same have been its unusual headquarters and its original goal to keep the city safe from dangerous weapons. The leader at present is Lutia Fury, a former acrobat turned dual weapon expert turned commander turned clan leader. How she became its leader is unknown, yet she seems to be the oldest currently existing member... After taking over, she created laws concerning the use of weapons and then created a merchant guild of sorts to better control weapon use. Controlling the weapons of the city and their use seems to be the clan's goal.
Hunter Mercenaries An organization whose primary business is a mercenary system used by most of the city and its own private mercenaries. Members of the group live like kings and are willing to take any job for the right price. It is currently under the control of Desta Onesevive. The history of Hunter Clan is an interesting one. Desta was formerly a disciple of the dimension destroyer Starjian, who abandoned her in Byako when they went to a diner. Apparently, the orders got mixed up and when he received a pie (his one weakness), he ran out of Byako leaving a Starjian-shaped hole in the wall. She then traveled around Byako, found the Flyin' Fortress, and started a mercenary group. They made lots of money and eventually Desta came up against a crime boss known as the slime father and won, taking over his outfit and his casino in the process. She created her clan with the intent to amass the city's wealth and eventually control it. Since the clan has a hand in many of the city's resources, they were able to invent a mercenary system that could be accessed from many points of the city and be used to request or accept missions. Their group is known as the Hunter Mercenaries, who handle many of the high paying missions personally. Their casino has amassed much more money than it loses, and there are even rumors of it having connections with the city's criminal element...
Clan Kanareshii The unusual clan. Kanareshii, the Happy Depression, is a house of eccentricity. Nobody, not even those who reside there, are exactly sure what it does. Through some strange twist of fate, Cadwallander Whataname happened upon the small house and was suddenly inspired to found the clan and for reasons beyond him call it Kanareshii. It has become like a small manor that holds an odd assortment of people with nothing really in common, not even goals. But thanks to Cadwallander's strange charisma, people feel drawn to the place and come to trust the goofy pilot/Fonz. The group has come to earn recognition in the city and gathered up islands, a carnival and even the Byako Railroad on their luck and smiles alone. Rumors abound about Cadwallander's true intent and whether or not he is actually some great mastermind to have so much success. There are even stranger rumors that his hair is a sign of him being a blue blooded noble. Some even say that it's a clan of hobbies. Only one thing is for sure: they're a happy bunch who go from one adventure to another seemingly without a care and have a mysterious ability to catch people's attention.
Ten Organization A mysterious organization that is shrouded in mystery. In the past, it has been connected to attacks on other clans and suspicious activities.... Since Afos has taken over, it has come out in the open revealing themselves to be librarians in the Tenth Sea Library. Afos himself grew up in Kabina and was childhood friends with Aki. He eventually became a mega bishie pop star sensation named A.N.Sem, touring the city for his own amusement until he mysteriously disappeared one day. He resurfaced several years later, having lost his sight and somehow was appointed to be the leader of the Ten Organization. Afos seems to have a mysterious knowledge that supersedes understanding and mysterious abilities that seem unstoppable. What the Ten Organization actually does is indeed a great mystery. All that can be confirmed is that they never seem to have more than ten members at a time and that those members have great power...
D.G.L A powerful triumvirate whose power is rivaled only by there ambition. It is an organization initially created by the Lich King, a man known for his religious speeches, protests against the living, and his desire to destroy every door in existence. With his vast magical knowledge, he was able to easily bring the DGL into existence. The group is split into three factions: Dark, Grey, and Light. Dark is a faction of the undead. They're the solders, warriors, and conquerers of the DGL faction, the clan's military and fiercest people. With their control over the Underways, they can appear from almost anywhere and begin there campaigns. There are few people even among the clans daring enough to cross them. They operate in the Little Necropolis, which is home of many of the city's undead and crypt keepers. Grey, the leading faction, is made up of soulless beings with no conscience. They're the clans lawyers and bureaucrats, lead by the DGL clan leader Hugh Mann (Hue Manny), a homunculus created by the Lich King. Hugh took the King's place after he retired. The Grey faction operates in the Grey Tower, making the choices for the other two groups. They also have the thankless job of watching the budget and solving internal problems within the group. The Light faction is responsible for the clan's PR. They put a positive spin on the clan's actions, putting them in the best possible light. They're the faction that's dedicated to helping others and spreading good will. Operating within the Holy Halls, the faction's leader is the high priest of the hallow place. The three factions are together one powerful clan whose ambition is to conquer the city.
D.I.N.E.R Once upon a time there was a mighty clan known as the Immortal Spirit Army. They held dominance over demons and damned souls alike, until one day they fell. Some time later Jett appeared, picking up the pieces of ISA and creating D.I.N.E.R to fill the gap left by the ISA. Unlike the ISA, however, they use advanced technology and insidious plans to achieve their goals. Made up of a variety of people, the group commands a number of spirits, demons, and undead who loyally serve Jett, who in return promises them the chance to gain humanity. Jett himself is a wolf hybrid gifted with superior intelligence, which he uses to predict future events. Though he has a self-assured personality, considering himself smarter than anyone, it is well earned. With his superior intelligence, he has created technology and magic so advanced that it would quickly allow D.I.N.E.R to claim dominance.
