*~*Lenair's Room*~*

Lenair's room lies upon the seventh floor of the 100-story female dormitory. Her dorm is located at the end of the hallway, adjacent to one other room and a lone window. Its door has a honey brown hue; a cotton welcome mat rests just below it. The mat has a mix of indigo and green lettering for the word "Welcome," and its background is identical to a midday sky. The door also has a small golden placard with the metallic No. 026 labeled across the top. Two upturned halogen lamps rest on each side of the door, providing light for various situations.

The inside of Lenair's room is somewhat simplistic, but still rather homey. As with all other dorm models, it is very copious, and offers a great deal of space for occupants, furniture, household appliances, etc. For the most part, the floor is wooden, that is until one reaches the bathroom (marble tiles line the floor and inner wall of the shower). (Halogen lights are found within about every section of the dorm.) The first section of Lenair's room consists of a coffee table, a rich oriental rug, three sofas, two wall scrolls, one painting, a coat rack and adjacent closet, and two photographs. The coffee table has a hue that is similar to the front door; it is evenly polished, made of oak, and stands just fifteen inches above the ground. The rug beneath the coffee table has an idyllic scene woven into itself. It is of lovely geishas partaking of tea, while enjoying the view of a gentle lake.

The three sofas are situated along the walls; their textures are lavender, crimson, and indigo. This matches the color scheme of the walls, which have an intricate mixture of patterned wallpaper. The painting hanging from the eastern wall is of a white house, situated upon a steep cliff, which suffers the buffets of strong, crashing waves. One wall scroll is a calendar, decorated with perennial flowers; the other is a portrait of the Ria High staff (Mattus and the gang). The closet is filled with cleaning apparatus and Lenair's suitcases; the coatrack has a silverish color, and at times, Lenair's staff resides nearby, leaning against the nearby wall. Lastly, the two photographs within this section of Lenair's dorm are of her nun mentors, and herself, making a New Year's toast with the only friend she'd made at the boarding school: Jacob.

In the subsequent section of Lenair's room there is a queen-size bed, dresser with an attached vanity mirror, night stand, ceiling fan, rarely used television set, door leading to the bathroom, and a closet. The queen-size bed is plush, and very comfortable. The usual bedspread is decorated with a star and sun print; others include the moon and sun, a cloudy sky, and an aquatic wonderland. The dresser is made of polished maple wood, and it consists of the major portion of Lenair's clothing. The corresponding mirror is oval in shape, and has two layers of maple wood around its curved form. The keys to the room are usually found along the dresser's flat surface; there are six individual drawers. The night stand, adjacent to the bed, supports an electric alarm clock, that Lenair has yet to figure out.

(She's used to the tolling of a bell instead of a buzzing alarm clock. She has depended on the former for at least eleven years; the transition will be difficult, if successful at all.)

A wooden ceiling fan, coated with black paint, hovers above the queen-size bed. The TV set within this part of her room is the standard Sony model, which can be found within all dorm rooms upon arrival. It has collected dust for the past few months, though Lenair is prompt in her cleaning rituals. It hasn't been used, and is likely to be removed for more space in her room. On each side of the television set is a door; one leads into Lenair's bathroom, and the other into another closet. The closet consists of Lenair's longer garbs and about three extra pairs of shoes (aside from the boots that she usually wears). (Both aforementioned closets having a hanging chain, which links to a single light bulb.) The bathroom has a sink with a gold-chromed faucet, and a marble bath and matching toilet. (Satin rugs rest below the toilet, bath, and sink.)

Above the sink, and the against the wall, rests a rectangular mirror; four light bulbs rest at the top of said mirror. The bathroom comes with its own supply of delicate lotions, perfumes, facial products, and the like. The shower curtain that shields the bath is lavender; the same hue applies to the walls of the bathroom and the rugs. The bath is comprised of delicate marble and a gold-chromed faucet; the showerhead is also gold-chromed. Now, for the last and final section of Lenair's room, there is a window (draped with lavender curtains), a desk with its own chair, and a table that supports a fish bowl. The window is very simple in design; it has a metal latch at the top, and wooden borders along the glass. It offers a gorgeous view of some of the campus, namely the courtyards.

The desk is littered with schoolwork, and there are textbooks residing near it. A small lamp is situated along its flat surface. It corresponding chair has a series of curvy designs along its base. Lastly, to the right to of the desk, against the wall, rests a slim table. A winter green cloth is spread along its flat surface; on top of the cloth is a fish bowl, which is home to Lenair's only two pets: Adora and Arable.

This concludes the description of Lenair's dorm.
