Hold on, I'll post the convo we had today. And this is the first time I've talked to him in over two weeks.

The background is basically this: We've been dating casually since Jan. A couple of months ago we talked about maybe persuing a relationship, he said he wanted to. But after that he acts like he wants exactly the opposite. He goes back and forth between treating me like s**t, and being all sweet and stuff. Well, last time he ditched me, I decided that I was done with it. So, I haven't tried to talk to him since.

But he IMed me out of nowhere today.

So, I don't know if he grew a pair and actually wants to ask me out, or what. But after being s**t in his eyes for weeks, I'm not really interested in him anymore. But my people-pleaser nature will guilt me into dating him. Just like it wouldn't let me say no to a movie...

Well, I already know myself well enough to know I'm gonna feel obligated to give it a chance. Then (this happened with the last guy I dated), I'm gonna be stuck in a relationship I don't want to be in, for a couple of months at least, until I can get the nerve up to break up with him.
