I don't find they're alike personality wise or appearance..but they're both sexy in their own ways

They both have dark hair, for me that's as far as the resemblence goes ^_^;
Lucifer is much more physically mature, Cain still has the physique of a boy.
There are many aspects of Kaori Yuki's drawing style that are similar in all her characters though.

i think Cain in Godchild looks more like Setsuna just w/ darker hair and looks more elegant

I do remember reading some parts of Godchild where Cain reminded me a lot of Lucifer but he also reminds me of Setsuna and Rosiel a lot too. I like Cain better than Lucifer though because Lucifer creeps me out.

Little bits of information about Lucifer as a person is dropped throughout the manga, but he doesn't actually get to be himself until the last few volumes...but last few I mean...the last 2 volumes.

And i suppose... sorry, i'm not a fan of Lucifer in the least. It's pretty slack of me but i mean, when he's put up against eccentric and beautifully messed up characters like Rociel, i feel he's a stone, under the mud, in a pool of fishies.

I prefer Cain though. Something to do with the drawing style and such...>w< Lucifer isn't half bad though. [Assuming, of course, that we're talking about the same Lucifer here ._.;;;]

I love Lucifer. Period. Even as a sword, even in the body of Kira Sakuya. Heck, even though he's cheating on me with Alexiel. xD But Cain...something about him makes me wanna jump his bones. Maybe the fact that he sleeps nekked? redface

Yes. Cain looks like the younger Lucifer. Although Lucifer is cooler and Cain is more of a womanizer. I guess maybe I like Cain slightly more just because he's emotionally disturbed from his child-hood (always a plus to being an interesting character). But Lucifer is so damn sexy. And not near as stupid in many cases. Tough call.
