how do you go from goth to emo?

my friend was goth but she just told me she became emo. she sais she's become more depressed and scuicidal,but i can't imagine her like that,not completely.
any thoughts on this?

There are so many things wrong with that I don't know where to start.


Emo kids ARE NOT suicidal. You CANNOT just change your "scene" without being a complete poser. Just tell her to stay doing what she wants and not striving to be in any particular scene. If it happens that she's into a scene, then fine. If she's into 2, then okay. But it's unbelievab;y stupid to be trying to be in a scene, then making a transition because you get "bored".
