Spring is here, and with spring comes all those sale ads from the department stores. When someone suggested a gaia related contest, I really had to think to come up with something. So I sat down and thought about what gaia is made up of, forums and an avatar/doll system, with an art arena, games and a mini-economy. Thinking of the avatars and the outfits, I thought that something fashion related would be interesting, and I can up with this:
Sell us your look
you will be making a page out of an add booklet for cloths, just check the newspaper for examples, except, you will use a gaia avatar as the model. you can have multiple avatars on one page, or only one.
Pay attention to things like color, layout and audience.
as in the real world certain things appeal to different groups, think about who would like the outfits you are advertising and what sort of style of ad would appeal to them.
Some details you may wish to add:
- the cost
- the store
...But Raine, I don't have fashion sense! That's ok! you don't need it wink the goal of this piece is not so much to come up with a perfect outfit, but to come up with a good ad, you can try to sell us peasant's cloths, just be witty about it wink
