[Zemblanity Insomnia]

Jarian Clan

A group which handles most of Byako's weapon distribution and works behind the scenes to conquer the city itself. They are situated somewhere below Byako.

Goal: Defending jarian teritory, protecting the city, defending the smaller businesses, maintaining weapon laws, holding back the apocalypse

How to Join: The Jarians are a select group of specialists each person handpicked because of a particular talent they may have
there are three ways to join as a member:
1. approach the way point at the market place asking for a position apon which you will meet Lutia who after judging whether you had potential will put you through a trial of your abilities followed by an 'Initiation Order' to test you.
(with the jarian base MIA this option is inapplicable)
2. this is a great honor. in rare cases Lutia will contact your character herself offering them the position as a Jarian Clan Member
(this happens fairly rarely and the jarians are not ones to just offer anyone the position)
3. failing those options the suggested course is to approach one of the Jarian Members and beseech them to take you on as an apprentice and learn from experience (kinda like an intern). You will study under them learning the tricks until you are judged whether or not your Jarian material. this can take some time and while you are learning under a jarian member you are not considered a member yourself until you are accepted by Lutia.

The Hunter's Clan

A clan of mercenaries. They regulate the missions for mercs across the city of all the diffrent colors of morale and use there own group of mercs to deal with the moe more dangerous missions.
Goal:This Clan is based around a mission based system. We are dedicated to providing a keen mision system for people wanting quests and use it to fund our operations and continued operation of the Hunter Clan System

How to Join: Put in an aplication at the casino and if aproved you will given three missions to complete if you pass you will be made a clan memebr and partnered with a senior member until you learn the ropes.

Base: Our base is the Starship Aria a great vessel made from a a multiude of folded dimensions. Manned by the Starunes it is a powerful force to be reconed with and few people could successfully lay siege apon it.

Goal: To... umm... well, we haven't really decided yet.

How to Join: Just stop by the Kanareshii building and ask Cadwallander or Ventarbre. Or, just ask Cad if you see him wandering around.

Base: The building that the Kanareshii call "home" was once so dilapidated that you couldn't walk anywhere without the fear of falling through the rotting floorboards. Now, thanks to the help of its ever growing cast of characters, renovations are slowly being made to spruce up the place. There are two main floors, a basement, an attic, and a small makeshift hangar on the roof.

What is happening!

In the ISA Clan.


Up in the sky, a great flying city dwells? This is the city of Dis. On the city of Dis lies the ISA, The Immortal Spirit Army, a clan that has evil intentions, and is controlled by none other than Tempura Pho Miso. The Co-Leader is a man by the name of Jack Leroux, a master at whips and loyal servant to Miso. The ISA has evil intentions on city domination; it has a very powerful army?the minions of Hell itself! So far what has happened in the storyline of the ISA is a few members joined, a man by the name of Ryu, who can control various elements of Magic, and Iris, a shapeshifting sorceress. As of right now, the ISA is having something of a Civil War. First it was caused by Jack and Miso about disagreeing on something, which caused Miso?s seal on his forehead to break, releasing the Great Demon lord Solus. Then, everyone in the ISA had to fight Solus, trying to stop him from destroying the world. Solus then split into two beings, Orange and Violet. Orange is Physically strong and has great endurance, whereas Violet is skilled at Magic and speed. Then the mysterious Vampire Romulux appeared, and his motives was to slay Solus, but got sidetracked when Jack made a comment that hurt his pride, and attacked Jack. Well after a fight or two, Orange was killed but Violet had managed to Survive, and killed Iris, who gained a new form?an evil form. This new form of hers is Siri, the evil half of Iris, and currently the ISA is trying to fight/change her back.


In the Jarian Clan....


It all started when Lutia, disguised as someone else, infiltrated the city with an experimental weapon. A ninja found out and tried to stop her, but she used it and turned him into a plushie. Upon entering her base, she was reunited with Lori, her second in command. They were catching up with each other when a shadowling infiltrated the clan base. Lori captured the shadowling and melted it, never leaving room for an interrogation. They were offered an Alliance with the Tryvan and, knowing their skill, Lutia agreed to meet them at the Bowery. The Alliance was a success. They acquired a new member known as Neo and also met Kren the shadow and his cohort Nicalin. They left soon after a 'pompous aristocrat' barged in haughtily. Following after him, they showed Neo around. When they went to socialize at the vault, everyone under the sun popped in for a visit. After getting rid of the last of the unwanted visitors, Lutia and Neo began working on a plan.....


In Faita...

Nothing important happen. People almost don't know abouth them.


In the Hunter's Clan...

The Hunter Evan was succesful at capturing a strange monster that was dweling in the Slums. After that, several new member wanted to join the clan and have passed the entrance exam. They then received a new job from the Jarians. The Hunters were asked to go and capture a weird little man named Kenton Alkemi, who is strangely afraid of his own Shadow. They are currently delivering him.

In the Kabina's Clan

The Princess, Aki, has invited the mechanic, Beginner, to stay with her in the castle floating above the city. While she showed Beginner the way to some metal shops (with Aki's friends to take her around and translate if needed), something caught Aki's attention and she headed off alone. While off on her own, she happened to run into someone from another clan, the Immortal Spirit Army. He informed her that they were in desperate need of assistance. He begged her for their help, even if it went against the clan's neutral policy. Unable to refuse this plea for help, Aki accepted the terms only if the war stayed out of Kabina. The man agreed and Aki left, flying over the city up to the castle.


Also, a mysterious new clan is rumored to be emerging. Who could be the leader? What are their purposes? Nobody knows...

What is happening! Part 2!

In the ISA Clan.


The ISA Civil War has finally ended with a somewhat tense hostage situation. Through the use of a strange flower, John C. Blues was able to bring back Iris. This left Violet holding onto Siri, a knife at her throat. Taking advantage of the situation, Miso shot both Violet and Siri through the stomachs with a single shot. Afterwards, he ordered Jack and Ryu to bring all three bodies into the city, and they made their leave.


In the Jarian Clan....

Several new members came to the clan in search of membership, including Justice and Vayle Honor (AKA Valentine), who Lutia tested and found worthy. Meanwhile, Neo had finished some technological devices, one of which makes the base immune to the teleportation of enemy troops. The Jarians went about their normal business (building new weaponry, acquiring armor, studying new techniques, and aiding the clan) and Lutia was about to track down Gray concerning a stolen weapon when a new member asked to join......

In the Hunter's Clan...

Kenton was successfully delivered to the Jarian Clan. Evan and Megumi are about to begin a quest to find a special magical object for a very very rich man.


In the Kabina's Clan

Many new people have been flocking to Kabina and Aki, reunited with an old friend, is trying to find them all, with little sucess. Beginner, the mechanic, is after the boy who broke into the castle and stole some of the gears for the new mecha she is creating.
It's all mass mayhem!


In the Kanareshii...

It all started at the most unlikely place. In a part of the city where no one ever treads, on a street with as much activity as a dead anthill, there is an abandoned old building. Cadwallander Whataname, lost in his attempt to find Mecha Main Street, somehow found himself standing in front of the building. There was something about it that he couldn't quite put his finger on. After literally meeting face to face with the old sign (his nose took a beating), he ventured inside to investigate. Soon after, he met the mysterious Adiemus and a sharply dressed young man named Leigh. The three together decided to form a clan. Currently they are in the process of renovating the old building...

Some rumors are now spreading saying that Data Towers is in fact the HQ of another powerful clan! Of course, no one belives those rumors. Such a well known place could never go into such ways!

In the ISA clan...
It was destoyed and now is floating rubble...

In the Jarian Clan...
the two new members had been found worthy and joined the jarians ranks
and as a few of the people who keep the place going bwehind the scenes makes themselves known
and by some intresting twist the hunter clan came under attack by what apeared to be the isa clan...
and the isa clan recieved reprisals from hunter in return...
the clan went about its normal business
members doing what was needed of them and what they pleased when not needed
until an emergency in one of the weapon facilitys required them to prepare for a special op mission
they where about to go when the base came under attack from a malignant force
determined to see the mission completed lutia sent two of her people to carry on as she planned to hold off the invaders.....

In Faita...
Was blown up and is now in ruins...

In the Kabina's Clan...
Kabina is under attack by their own. Aki's cousins, unhappy with her rule, have attacked her precious city with the funds of an unknown benifactor. Aki is currently fighting the benifactor, trying to get rid of him so she can deal with her cousin's and help her city.

In the Kanareshii...
As the three members of Kanareshii were exploring the dilapidated and crumbling building, a mysterious girl suddenly appeared through some form of magic. She introduced herself as Calypso Garris, Caly for short, and decided to assist the trio with renovations. They eventually wandered out to the backyard. Besides the garden that was suffering from neglect, there was also an old shed upon which a rather large tree had fallen. There was some sort of poisonous plant inside, but Caly used her Elven powers to cleanse and befriend it, along with the rest of the garden. Another strange character showed up after the brief encounter. This time it was a woman with an air of mystery about her, introducing herself simply as Malem. Upon investigating the contents of the shed, Cadwallander found an old rusted engine and made a note to fix it up when he had the time. Now, as the members of the ever-growing Clan Kanarareshii re-entered the building, they found another new face. Who is he? Will he become a new member?

In the Data towers...

wanted to go in a more clanniy direction so he posted flyers
and ended up hiring Ace as a special representitive of data towers
he then sent ace off to gather intel on isa while he attended a party
and mingled with other members of the clan elite

meanwhile ace was in an arderous dogfight against isa members as he kept
gathering intel on the number of people attacking it
when one more person apeared and toasted the places
seeing this as enough info ace headed back

back at data towers josh the gremlin had hacked into the system and was
able to change the records saying the leader was dead and then
sent security systems to attack the workers of the clan driving them out

the security fired on ace sending him crashing into the
deuling arena where he met myst and ryu and convinced them to join
they then broke into the tower beat the security and took the clan back

and now ace is rewarding his members and preparing to make some changes....

What is happening! Part 4!

In the Hunter...
After a strange chain of events and a sleep that affected all the members of the clan, the clan base came under attack by a Byako Government group. The group was less than successful with their exploits. They abandoned the Flyin' Fortress for the roomier and more advanced lodgings of the Inter-Dimensional Starship Aria, who is a bit of a character herself. Now, after the members have gotten settled, they met the new Registrar and a special race of Heartless (Kingdom Hearts) that are Pink, have minds, and are good as well. They also each have a different rune. This special Race is called Starunes. Now they are getting ready to travel into a dangerous maze to find treasure and maybe even some extra help.

In Kabina...
Princess Aki's parent's were killed in the joint attack by her corrupt cousins and the villian that entered the city. To rid themselves of the villian, Aki threw him outside the walls and hurriedly raised the barrier, not allowing anyone new to enter Kabina. Those who wish to leave may, but those who do so can never return. The city is now a mess and many buildings are in crumbling ruin. It will be a long time before Kabina is whole again.

In the Jarian...
With the help of Neo and Justice, they successfully defeated the monsters with a greti swarm. Their leader is assumed dead. A new member known as Loryn joined the party.
Currently, the group is preparing to journey into the Tryvan Clan and reclaim lost technology.

Razriel seems to have enountered someone..

In BGM Enterprises (formely known as Data Towers Inc.)
After supplying Myst and Ryu with the information they needed and wishing them luck in the tournament, Ace began rebuilding the clan.
He is sending out invitations to unique people with potential, hoping that their services will be useful for BGM Enterprises, and is currently preparing to receive them.

In Kanareshii...
Welcome back! Last time, we mentioned that a new person arrived on the scene. His name is Jack, and it seems that he indeed intented to join Kanareshii. Not much is known about him at the moment, though it seems he has some relation to the Elves. About a second after, a terrorist bomber threatened to attack the "Kanarishii" clan. Ha! Boy was she wrong! Cadwallander, not seeing the potential threat of the situation, laughed honestly and wholeheartedly at this case of mistaken identity. The 'e' really does make a difference. Pretty soon, everyone else joined in the laughter. The bomber was shocked by this reaction and decided to bring out the big bomb, which exploded and left a huge mess of soot all over the lobby. However, this was no ordinary soot. It turns out that these were soot sprites, straight out of the fairy tales. While the clan members were distracted, the bomber hid a time bomb underneath the evil couch and fled. Malem saved the day by threatening the soot sprites with a hose AND discovering and disarming the hidden bomb.

Meanwhile, something stirred in the darkness of what was the basement. All the commotion above had awakened something... something terrible... It was.... a rare talking cardboard box of Malkidt? At least, that's what Alexander Campbridge thought it was. Through the use of his firery magic, he had teleported himself into the basement of Kanareshii. What was he doing? Well, we don't know for sure. Anyway, it turns out that the voice he heard wasn't coming from the box, but from a little boy named Ventarbre. There's something strange about him, though. I just can't seem to put my finger on it... How will things turn out now that we have new additions to the "family?" Tune in next time to find out!

What is happening! Part 5!

In BGM...
Uh while, Randel Grishem (John C. Blues) is tryin to take back Data Towers which is now BGM. Ace-Shooter (Midnight-Hustla) is defending it. I've been inviting people, trying to make every thread a theme song and planing to make an other tower...Top secret project (For suprise)


In the Jarian...
after dealing with an anoying messenger loryn, lutia and razriel journeyed into the tryvan clan base where sensing a great evil razriel stayed behind to encounter memnon
meanwhile lutia and loryn journeyed deep below the abandoned base and after dealing with several traps, defenses and obstacles thay made it into the vault and aquired many powerful weapons including the sister ray a large cannon powered by mana.
after returning a report came in about a sentient weapon plauging the bowery so loryn and lutia set off to deal with the new threat...
and raziel having his battle end in a stalemate journed off...

In the Kanareshii...
Welcome back! If you thought things were crazy last time, you're in for a big surprise. Something about the old building seems to be attracting new members by the day... Is it some type of magic? In any case, the names on the roster are multiplying like rabbits. First there is a strange masked man named Vincent. Who is he? What's with the mask? Why does he have such darling little dolls under his command? Will he be able to keep Campbridge away from them? By some strange coincidence, his companion Kurai also managed to find the old building. Those two seem to go back a long ways, who knows how far. Also joining the ranks is an elven girl named Xi, who is not much of a dog lover. Unfortunately for her, shapeshifter Jade took the form of a dog and wandered into the yard. Will she be joining us, too, I wonder?

Things started to get interesting after Vincent turned up. Apparently a bounty hunter came for him and the twenty-two million dollar bounty on his head. What ghastly things had he done in his past? he's not about to tell anytime soon. Campbridge and Cadwallander ran off to save him and came back successfully...except for Cad, who was left behind in all the excitement. He left unscathed, but his bad sense of direction made him get lost in the city for a day and a half. Upon his return, Caly had fixed the stairs and was beginning work on the garden. The floor, however, had other plans and swallowed a good portion of the clan members. How many of my people must the beast devour before it is satisfied? A whole lot more, that's for sure. Be sure to tune in next time to see what other events unfold!

In the Kabina...
Kabina's loyal members are rebuilding the demolished city. Aki has only just come out of her seclusion to finding much of her beloved city meraciulously rebuilt! She looks ill, for she's feed all of her power to the barrier that still encircles the city like a globe of see-through silvery light. The barrier streches over many dementions, covering even that of the spiritual. Becuase of it, still much is unknown about the fate of the great city.

What is happening! Part 6!

In the Hunters...
The Hunter Clan has been docile for the last month due to the lack of missions... But what is this secret messege the Jarian's mascot needed to get to Desta? And what of Destar being dragged willingly by two other Hunters, Blin and Traven, to the Hunter Clan base?

In BGM...
Rumours says that it have gone bankrupt and is now close. Exact details are unknown for now...

In the Jarian...
having captured the evil sword the jarians stored it away to prevent its grizley powers from causing trouble.
soon after which lutia took the time to test a new weapon
fell below expectations...

jarians continued there usual business of securing the weapon industry by aquring a research facility shortly after its creation.
neo completed the creation of a robotic assistant dubbed A.I for now which will be a great asset to the jarian cause
justice took the time to radicly upgrade clan security which make it difficult for an invasion atempt a much less vivid reality
there were some complications with the door fading out but thanks to a combined effort by neo and razriel it pulled through

But now war has broken out across the city as two warring countries have invaded and are making a mad grab for the cities weapon tecnoledgies.
the jarians though few in number are determined to brind down both armies and prevent this assult on the city from succeding
at this pivitol point the clan is spread thin and doing what they can to stop the enemy forces
but lutia seems to have desapeared....

In the Kanareshii
After fixing up the garden and finishing a quest to recover members from the deep dungeon that is called the basement, Clan Kanareshii found a strange poster on the door. It advertised a huge clan race that would be held at the Tarlow Highlands. Naturally, they wanted to join in on the fun, but they didn't have a craft to enter in the race. Cadwallander was going to build one from scratch, but Ventarbre suggested that they look on the roof. There was only one problem with that plan: they had to find the way to reach the roof.

With Caly leading the way, fixing the floors with her magic, the group made their way up to the second floor. When they entered the third room on the right, they found something very strange about it... creepy, almost. For reasons unknown the room was in perfect condition, completely standing the test of time and earning several bonus points along the way. Malem said that there was a very powerful preservation spell cast upon it, such that any physical changes made to the room would undo themselves. It was in this room that Cadwallander found a hidden doorway via "sliding bookcase" and went up the stairs to the attic.

There wasn't much in the attic itself, just the standard fare of boxes, but there was a trap door leading up to the roof. Cadwallander went to investigate and found himself in a huge shed that strangely resembled a hangar of sorts. A monstrous shape covered with canvas cloth caught his eye. Curious, he pulled off the cloth to reveal -- the biplane of his dreams. It was exactly the one he had wanted! But how...? Ah, he didn't really care at that moment. The race was going to start soon and Cadwallander was forced to use the roofs of neighboring buildings as a makeshift runway. Soon he was airborne, pretty good for his first flight, and made his way off to the Tarlow Highlands.

With Cadwallander gone, however, it seemed that good fortune left with him. After the arrival of Sano, a wanderer seeking refuge, the building was attacked by a silly looking man riding upon a large homunculus. It was Adrius, a member of the Neibel Army, and he was after Malem. Sano and Ventarbre joined in on the brawl, while everyone else remained inside. There was a long, drawn out battle which ended in the killing of the homunculus and the defeat of Adrius. Another soldier was carrying him off, so Malem and Sano gave chase.

As for Kanareshii.... the building suffered quite a few blows and the backyard was completely ruined. Once Caly saw it, she was driven to tears. Vincent tried to comfort her. All her hard work was for naught.... or so she thought. Ventarbre said that he would have everything back to normal in no time. Everything was clear once he began to cast a spell, one that rewound time and reset the state of the building to the point before the attack had begun...

In the Kabina...
Clan Kabina is slowly but steadily rebuilding their trodden city. Aki has had a surprise guest visitor, her old friend, Ansem, who is now the new leader of the Ten Org. Surprised and befuddled to see him Aki sits down to talk for a while but they are rudly interupted by Ansem's summons. He bids her farewell and leaves. Kabina has a new ally with the powerful Ten Org.

In the Ten Organization
Under the leadership of its former clan leader, the Ten Organization was responsible for attacks on the other clans, even destroying the ISA and Faita clans completely. The leader was killed in one of these attacks, while summoning an enourmous meteor to annihilate all of Byako. The clan was leaderless for a time with its members undergoing great changes in their lives. Allen went to therapy. Alabaster gained greater control over the Vices, reducing their sway over him, and greatly improving his personality. Ansem cometed in the race at Tarlow Highlands, pulling off a spectacular second place finish. While visting his old friend Aki in Kabina, Ansem recieved summons proclaiming him the new head of the Ten Organization. They are now situated in the only library in Byako, the Tenth Sea Library and would be more than happy to assist you in your persuits of information of almost any sort.

What is happening! Part 7!




In the Jarian...
A local lunatic for reasons unknown engaged in battle with Loryn
when little Sou Sou attempted to step in she was asked to not get involved and an honorable duel began.

Lutia in disguise entered the ten library acquiring some supplies she just discovered while her hired guns began the assault upon the enemy.

Record journeyed to the kanareshii clan and delivered an alliance treaty
and gave them leather jackets, pencils, model airplanes and a juke box in exchange for there assistance in the future.
Lutia appeared there briefly confirming the new alliance before departing.

The duel had ended badly and Loryn was in trouble when Lori now recovered appeared exchanging herself for loryn and sent her back to the base,
Discovering this Lutia set off there in a fury...

Meanwhile, the last remnants of the two armies was fighting there hardest against the Jarian's movement which seems to be holding the upper hand

Though trouble seemed to be on the way.....


In the Kabina...
Nothing really happen since last time. However, a new wind is about to blow. For the better? or the worst?


In the Kanareshii...
After all the recent chaotic events at the Kanareshii building, things have finally returned to normal -- Caly continued her restoration of the building, Cadwallander came back, and Campbridge is still plotting to steal that magical book.

However, things are not always as they seem. A mysterious door bearing the mark of the Jarian Clan appeared in the living room and from it, a ghostly messenger went to have a word with the leader of this eccentric ensemble. There was one small problem -- Cadwallander is "blind" to magic, so to speak. In other words, he can't see illusions, ghosts, or other effects caused by magic. After overcoming this slightly troubling obstacle, it seems that they agreed to an alliance of sorts. As compensation, he received a year's supply of oversized pencils, several model biplane kits, leather jackets, and a jukebox...

Meanwhile, Caly nearly lost control of her powers because of the door. Thanks to Vincent and Ventarbre, everything was fine. With Ventarbre's magic still recharging, it looks like two of the clan's mages are out of commission for a while. Too bad, because something else is coming to Kanareshii; something so horrible and heart-wrenching that could bring the whole clan to ruin. We'd better hope that Cadwallander doesn't find out...


In the Hunters...
The Hunter Clan as taken part in the civil war at the Jarian's request and is now fighting in the Industrial Industry district.


In the Ten's...
The Tenth Sea Library has been a bustling place recently. Multiple personalities have come and gone through the library. From an old lady, to an old dwarf, to a mute magician, to a young dragon-girl, even as far as the two crossdressing bumblers from the newly rebuilt ISA.
Business in the library has been well, busy, as well. A new member was added on to the 10 Org. Librarian Squad in the form of Daisuke, a friend of Vinchie's. Ansem performed his Button Factory Dance which made him famous across Byako a couple years back. And Ansem left the library to deliver some overdue notices for odd books borrowed long ago by the other clans.
