What does one have to accomplish to be a moderator?
Or is it kind of a " I like you, you're in" type of deal?

Also, What are your rules on story content?
I know that we must stick to the ToS but say for instance the story in question has strong sexual/drug inuendos that are borderline rule breaking?

What's your policy on cursing, because some of the characters in my stories are mentally challenged and have a tendency to blurt out two-paragraph-long curse word strings as a way to help the reader understand just how ******** (what about that word?) in the head they are?

and I dont want to post a piece or poetry
that has some cursing
if it will get me kicked out..

Borderline rule breaking-PM it to me first, and then I'll decide if it's okay to be posted in the guild. Sound fair?

Mods-I haven't given this much thought, becuase I have no need for them. I'll figure something out when I need them, but basically if I see that you're active and follow the rules and such, you're a candidate for a mod, if one is needed. I may set up some actual guidelines, like you must have x amount of posts or something...Like I said, I'll give it more thought when the time comes for me to choose mods.

It's from a song by my all time favorite band, Run Kid Run. That links to their myspace, where you can hear the song it came from (wake up, get up) and others.

Well, sometimes it's worth it to check out guilds that are being sold.

Just look for "Sale" in the guild search thing. Sometimes you can get good deals on Guilds that already have subforums, which'll save you gold in the long run.

Banners-make them yourself, or ask your new members to make some.

Um...what kind of guild is it? Maybe I can help you more if I know that.

Yep.

You can rename it, ban everybody...as long as you're captain, you can do pretty much anything.

It's often a good idea to have a guild mule so that you don't get the guild's gold mixed up with your own and accidentally spend it. I used an existing mule that I didn't really have any use for.

Once you buy the guild, the person you bought it from will make you captain. As soon as that happens, demote any vice captains and mods. Especially the vice captains, they can in face overthrow the captain and the captain can't do anything about it.
