I was thinking how many of the english people I know, including my gf, can't eat very spicy food. And in contrast, how a lot of asians, such as chinese and indians, are able to eat very spicy food.
So here's a poll just to find out how many of you guys can handle the hot stuff, like curry, chilli, Nando's, whatever. 3nodding

Sin has a friend who is asian,
But cannot handle eating spicy food whatsoever.
Even if it contains a tiny bit of chilli or whatever,
She won`t eat it.

It depends on what part of Asia.. even different parts of China have different spice-tolerance levels..

I can handle chicken claws in Thai style heart
I haven't tried any spicey foods yet that I can't handle though...

Haha what happened? I used to be fairly bad at eating spicy food (couldn't even handle a Hot Noodle without 2 full cups of water xD), but my parents encouraged me to try seeing as they eat a lot. Now I can eat stuff that's even too spicy for both of them hehe. twisted Did anyone else's parents encourage them to eat hot food from a young age? I think eating from a young age probably gives us a higher tolerance to spice or something. 3nodding
