[Nanasa Miduki]

Nanasa stepped inside her dorm room, closing the door quietly behind her. She'd already looked around at her room once before, but it was impressive enough that she found herself doing it again.
Aside from the impressive in and of itself size, easily forty-feet square with a high ceiling, the room's furnishings were elegantly simple, with just a touch of the ostentatious. The walls were a pale ivory, with barely visible grey sketchings of old-world style geographic maps and artistry. The lights within the room were in ornate wall sconces, modeled to look somewhat like old-world lanterns. There was a lush, tan carpet over the entirety of the floor, the material was soft and ticklish if you were to go barefoot. There were several windows in the room, huge vaulted windows with long ventian blinds and silk curtains. The two outer windows were clear glass, and were open to permit a cool breeze which ruffled the curtains smoothly. The center window was stained glass, creating a surreal diorama of a medieval setting; the design seemed to change every time you looked at it.
The furnishings were just as illustrious as the affixments. The bed was enormous, easily big enough for a small family, with black silk sheets and huge fluffy pillows, and was competed with a canopy which held a turquoise satin curtain in place. There was a large writing desk by the windows, the desk itself was mahogany with a fine finisk, varnished to a deep, rosy red-brown, and was accompanied by an oak chair similarly treated and topped with a soft cushion. there was a huge dresser, with enough drawers and space to hold several dozen outfits, not to mention accessories and accoutrements. The bathroom was done in gray marble with bluish rippling, it was elegantly straightforward, with a large tub and seperate shower, and expansive closet for towels.
Nanasa's belongings still had to be fully unpacked, her two suitcases lay against the dresser, and several sets of clothes had been set on top of the dresser for later placement. Her single freestanding belonging, her white teddy bear, was already perched upon the bed, leaning against the pillow.
Nanasa walked further into the center of her room, and took a moment to simply enjoy the beautiful scenery she'd been permitted already.

Slowly but surely, Nanasa opened her eyes. Moving to a sitting position, she looked around blearily as her mind slowly caught up to her body. She didn;t recognize where she was at first, but gradually the details came to her. It seemed she'd fallen asleep next to her desk by the window, or perhaps she'd fallen out of it while she was asleep.
Getting up, her back hurt a little, so she decided to take a nice hot shower. going into the bathroom, she disrobed and put the water on hot, as hot as she could tolerate. Slipping inside, she let the steamy water run over her body as she washed up, feeling the tension and ache leak out of her muscles as she did so.
A long moment later, she sighed, stepping out of the shower and drying off. Tossing the towel in the hamper, she pulled on a thick robe, cinched it snug, and sat down at her desk, starting the fairly lengthy task of combing her hair. Once finished, she simply sat there for a while, thinking about various things for the day ahead, like what would be good for breakfast, if there was a test, or any other little thought she happened to chance upon.
Finally, she got up and got dressed, adding the final touch as she put the yellow ribbon in her hair. Giving her teddy bear a hug goodbye, she picked up her bag and left the room, locking it up. She left her tokens behind as the festival was over, they didn't have any use to her until the next event started, hopefully.

Nanasa woke up, tears in her eyes. She missed Ryoya so much, it hurt so bad. She had thought that if she was just strong, she could stand it, but she was wrong. She couldn't bear to be away from him, even at the cost of her education. She felt bad about dropping out of school, but to her there was no contest. Packing up her meager belongings, she left her bag of tokens and the room key on her bed. She'd have no use for them anymore, after all.
Closing the door sadly, she made her way downstairs and told the young mandroid she would be taking a permanent leave of the school, that she didn't need her room anymore. From there it was a short step to cancel her remaining classes and collect a partial refund of her tuition charges. Making her way to the Gates, she took one last long look at the school. She had so much hope for the future, but it was all for naught.
