Brainstorm

Reminiscent of the Byako plot in which Cadwallander leaves guard duty, finds himself in the Plushie Palace where a summary of the plot is explained, and he leaves to find Tryvan only to discover Kanareshii's ruined building

Unite attacks?
eventualy they will be added

So once Cad enters the building for the first time, he looks around and comments on what a dump it is

alright, all that beginning stuff and aquire two characters after you make it to the Kanareshii building
Adiemus and Leigh

explore the clan base and battle some vermin or something that moved in.....
Then after that, Caly randomly appears

and the next number of characters who join will come along every time your base is either exploring a new section or repairs a section?

after which the plot will stop but you can go about the city recruiting who you wish and such in a sort of new game+

we could have updates that add more
kanareshii plot. part 1 ends shortly before the clan attack?

minor monsters and bosses will be simple considering what might have moved in after the years

one trick will be getting that sort of back view of each chars drawn for that Suikoden look
fortunatly Kenton Alkemi will be able to draw that

well for now we're holding off on animations though later we may have an animator who can pull it off

Programmer Update: Okay might be side view rather than suikoden view for now, make it easier that way, can be changed in the future simply.

Style: 2D fighting game (think street fighter)

Control: 6 buttons for attacks + directional + taunt

Total Fighter Limit: 10,000 (I kid you not)

Total Stage Limit: none

Something that hopefully wont get side-tracked,

Byako City - City Defense

Featuring the Jarian Clan, the Main Gate area, and The Market Place
- As with most defense games you start out by choosing a character and fighting off enemies using those characters.
- 7 Jarian members to choose from as initial starters.
- 4 Players can start the game.
- If any player should leave the game another can join in during the market place scenes between rounds.
- Several types of npc's that can be stategically placed to fight off the enemy invasion.
- RPG style stat system for all characters, friend and foe. (This means enemies get stronger by killing you as much as you get stronger by killing them.)
