The soft moonlight glows on the fields of corn...
A shadow conceals the moon for a moment, and then descends upon the ground. A man with jet black crow wings lands in the pasture.
"I need to call the Three Old Ones...I need them to answer questions for me."
"I need the articles of The Rite to call them."
He briefly flew around the field and gathered all the items.
"12 articles total... A chicken, A snake egg, A pig, (That completes the sacrificial element) Honey, Wine, Vinegar (That completes the sacrament element), The circle, The hexagram, The Hidden Word (That completes the written invocation), and lastly a crossroad, a moon, and the witching hour..."
He would also need a white knife, a brass chalice and a horn or bone... the knife at his side would do...the bone of a roadkill animal was fine...and a brass flowerpot near a farmhouse was fine...being an extension of his body really...would do. He changed it to white, and slowly drew a pattern in the dusty dirt of the crossroad. First the circle...then the hexagram. And finally the Hidden Word along the side.
Next, he needed to anoint the circle and himself with the elements. He dripped the honey onto his forehead...drank some wine and anointed the crowd of his head with vinegar. Then he poured the sacraments onto the circle.
Lastly came the sacrifices. With the knife he slew the chicken, and it's blood splattered the symbol. At that moment the egg of the snake began to hatch.
Distantly the clock struck 12...

The egg hatched, but no snake emerged...the dead c**k blinked and so did the living pig.
Instead in it's place was three women. Or rather, two women and a girl. There was a young girl of no older than 12...a matronly old lady in her late seventies, at least, and a woman who looked to be 20 to 30...
"Oh lookie here!" said the youngest, "A being has summoned us...unfourtunately it's not a mortal...those are so fun to toy with..."
The eldest spoke, "Well who is it, now? Angel? No those ingrates are too arrogant to bother with our kind anymore...all high and mighty...well, well it's a demon, and from the looks of things, lost your way, have you?" She gave a harsh cackle.
The middle one spoke, "Well then, child of darkness, you must have summoned us for a reason. We will do our best to help, given the rules. I assume you know them, dear?"
"I do sisters."
The Crone piped in, "Well get on with it, we haven't got all night. Well we actually do, but that's besides the point."
"Maiden, I ask you one question. How would I build a portal to Hell?"
"A portal to hell? That sounds like fun! But what you seek to build is not a door or gate so much...but rather a special mirror..."
"Thank you sister. Mother, or I could call you aunt...What do I need to build such a mirror?"
"My child, what you desire is made of many things...some of them quite rare. You need to build a frame of 5 materials. You need a base frame of iron and clay, a left frame of bronze...you might not like this one, and I'm sorry dear...a right frame of silver, and a top frame of gold. Upon the top must be inscribed the phrase, "I AM THE WAY INTO THE DOLEFUL CITY, I AM THE WAY INTO ETERNAL GRIEF, I AMD THE WAY TO A FORSAKEN RACE, JUSTICE IT WAS THAT MOVED MY GREAT CREATOR, DIVINE OMNIPOTENCE CREATED ME, AND HIGHEST WISDOM JOINED WITH PRIMAL LOVE, BEFORE ME NOTHING BUT ETERNAL THINGS, WERE MADE AND I SHALL LAST ETERNALLY, ABANDON ALL HOPE ALL YOU WHO ENTER." The mirror itself is to be made of smooth obsidian, and to activate it, you need the legendary Brimstone Hammer of Silurn, after reciting the malediction "EGO EST UMBRA" you are to break the mirror."
"Thank you. And last, crone...where might I find the Hammer?"
"Nowehere! It doesn't exist anymore. It was shattered by some high-born cleric of some sort centuries ago!"
"That's not helpful! Why would you give me all the instructions for something that can't be built anymore!"
"Hey I thought you said that you knew the rules, liar!" The young one stuck out her tongue.
"Of course...of course...wait...the pieces still exist, right?"
The crone pipes up, "Well well, this one's got a real head on his shoulders! You figured it out already?" The young one cheers excitedly, "Wow! You're realy smart! Well not as smart as me..." The Mother speaks, "I knew you could do it dear."
"Thank you Old Ones."
In unison, "We do our best." followed by laughter.
