With the Nintendo USB connector thingie o_o' it says it can't obtain a full IP address and there's no way to tell it manually with this thing... so.. what the hell am I supposed to do? I've tried looking at Nintendowifi.com but they have absolutely no troubleshooting of this nature with the USB connecters just with routers =/ ~sighs~ stupid error code 52003... (and error code 52103... but I only get that when I turn off my firewall) lol it hates me.

Have you...

Installed the software from the disc?
Right clicked on the little WFC then clicked on what it says in bold(Something about registration I think)?
Granted yourself permission to get on it?
Connected with your settings, and where it says Nintendo USB WiFi adapter?

It works perfect for me.

Well of course I've installed the stuff from the disc ¬_¬
Told it I can use it on the computer by saying "Grant user" and whatnot.
gone through the things that the Firewall asked about and allowed them indefinately
And what do you mean "connected with your settings"? elaborate for me.

[sarcasm]now time to bugger around on google until I find what I need! Yay for obscure Hacks and no warnings on the box or the official site about the Aol thing![/sarcasm]

I thought AOL was America only? Hence "America-on-line".

It's just that I've been to some parts of Europe and they didn't have AOL. Maybe the people who I knew just used something else. But not one person I knew in Europe used AOL.

kirbsmister in some random forum
The wi-fi adapter (for people without wireless), isn't very compatable with AOL.
To get around the AOL problem:

1.Uninstall the USB connector software.
2.Go on control pannel, select "network and internet connections"
3.Select network connections.
4.In the margin select "create a new connection"
5.A window will appear. Just select the top option "connect to internet".
6.In the next step select "set up my connection manually"
7.Now select the second option (about a username and password).
8.Just type what you want for the ISP name (eg. Wi-Fi AOL)
9.Now for your username put your AOL EMAIL ADDRESS. For the password put your AOL password. (You can untick the two boxes at the bottom)
10.Tick the shortcut box and press finish.
Now you've created and AOL connection that doesn't use the AOL software (and it doesn't cost you anything extra by the way)
Now:
11.Connect to your new connection via the desktop icon.
12. Whilst connected, reinstall you USB connector.

Whenever you want to go on Wi-Fi, just use the connection you created, instead of actualy loading AOL. Hope that helps out a few people!
