You tell yourself not to do it
You tell yourself it is all going to be okay
But soon you just can't fight it
As you discover he loves another
You drag your nails roughly against your skin
Needles, blades, whatever works
Whatever brings that delightful pain
That washes over you in an awesome wave
It doesn't hurt anymore
It distracts
It soothes
Like the hug from a friend you need so badly right now
As soon as you do it, you feel guilty
You swear to yourself you'll never do it again
But deep down, you know you will
It's a deadly cycle
You hurt yourself to take the pain away
But that only causes more pain
Pretty soon you're hurting yourself to take away the emotional pain from hating yourself for hurting yourself
By the time you realise there is no sense in it
It's too late
Your life is flowing from you in a crimson river
And no one knows why...



I am usually not like this at all sweatdrop I've just been having a really rough week that is bringing back some bad habits..

3nodding Well thank you! * Blush * My week is a little better now.. My boyfriend and I are doing better. I think this city is just getting to me. This city to be is like self abuse, it feels like there is no hope for escape. All I know is that I want something better than this crappy house in this crappy town... More angst stressed
