Sailor Jupiter's Dubbed Attack

I am so confused as to Sailor Jupiter's 2nd attack in the dubbed version.

Because in Sailor Moon R she says "Jupiter Thunder Cloud Zap!"

And then in S & Super S she says the Japanese one "Sparkling Wide Pressure!"

So which one is the right one? I'm thinking the Japanese one, but that's Cloverway which I hate them because of the voices they picked for the characters.

Then I think it's the english one, but then again the attack is not a thunder cloud it's a thunder energy disk type of thing. So I don't know which one is the right way?!

Her American Attack is Thunder Clap, I think.

But the correct one is Sparkling Wide Pressure, I believe. I'm pretty sure that's the original Japanese attack.

you should probably define what you mean by "right."

in the context of the series as a whole, where you consider the original to be the "right" version, then, yeah, "sparkling wide pressure" is the correct term.

but if you're asking about which is the correct term in the dub context, then they both are. the reason for the difference between the seasons' dubs is because r (and classic for that matter) were handled by DiC, and s & supers were handled by Cloverway (as i'm sure you know). just because they're different doesn't mean one's wrong and the other's right. they're both official translations, so they're both right. just different. 3nodding

but yeah, DiC's version is "thunder clap zap." 3nodding

I only remember hearing "Sparkling Wide Pressure," but my experience with the series is limited due to the fact that I only watched it when I was a kid.

"Jupiter Thundercloud Zap" was DiC's attack name


but...if u listen to the Cloverway dub, after a while they start naming a bunch of random attack names....including the original "Sparkling Wide Pressure"
