I watched naruto shippuden yesterday, and I must say this...I HATE IT!!!! It's just a lame copy of inuyasha or dragonball z now... with the body encircling chidori and lightning blade...they also made naruto no longer that funny because "he's more mature than before"...bs!! He was way cooler before they made him a sasuke clone who doesn't talk much and follows the rules. I can live with all these flaws they've added...but if they've changed lee's personality or hinata's personality in any way, I'm never watching naruto EVER again...(also, they completely ruined gaara, by making him nice, making him king, making everyone love him, and removing his shukaku...this depresses the hell out of me...that is 2 characters of mine they've ruined...2 left...hinata and lee...if those 2 get ruined aswell...I don't know what I'll do... cry ).

I don't like how they made Naruto so powerful, with the whole giant blasts of energy stuff. It is turning into Dragon Ball Z!! crying They didn't ruin Naruto completely, but he is more mature. I don't care if they ruined Gaara because I never liked him anyways. stare The good thing is they did not ruin Hinata or Lee! Hinata is still shy and in love with Naruto, and Lee is still Lee 3nodding

I thought it was great.
But I never really looked at it from that perspective.
I already assumed that Gaara would become Kazekage since his dad was, but I never noticed him being nicer. He still seemed all quiet & mysterious to me.
The first episode of Shippuden Konahamaru was showing Naruto his new Sexy Justu & Naruto was like well blah blah blah Let me show you my new even more preverted one.
I don't think Naruto matured much, I just think hes more set at the task of getting bitchy Sasuke back.

I like it. It's awesome to see how the character have grown.
I can only find a few on youtube that have subtitles on them, though.

They used to use their fists to fight, and use real honest to god techniques, like punches and kicks, but now they have lightning swords and crap!! Like what the hell?!? Also, the show is becoming irritating because of their fighting style. In the battle for the bells episode, do you remember how it was just a regular fight against kakashi in the beginning? Now they spend their time hiding in the dark, and attacking from the dark. In the original series, Only the badguys would hide, like Zabuza, itachi, the 5 sound, etc. Now the HEROES are the ones in the dark!! I really am getting annoyed by this...I hope they do not ruin lee anytime in the near future

So I get what your saying, alot of things changed in the series, but not all of it is bad. Naruto DID mature. Are you saying you wouldn't change from when your tweleve to fifteen? If you didn't I'd be a little scared. Naruto has been hanging with Ero-sennin, it's no suprise he's gotten more perverted and his fighting style changed. Same with Sakura and Sasuke.
And about the bell fight, what do you think your taking about with DBZ? Naruto is not gonna get hair that exploded way to much. lol.
In the battle, they were hidden in the dark because it was at NIGHT. Kakashi IS a good guy, and Naruto and Sakura didn't want him finding out where they were. It's called stealth, dear. If you were in a situation where you were getting chased by a powerful person, you would too. They had to discuss their plan to get Kakashi, if it was fight on fight, there would be no thought into what they were doing. It would be a useless battle.
Sasuke getting swords.
PLEASE don't tell me you never noticed ANBU ALWAYS carried swords? They've been used in Naruto before, so PLEASE don't say you haven't noticed. I think i might kill myself if you say you never noticed that.
Plus, Gaara will always rock and nothing really changed with him. He can control the Shakku almost perfectly now and is only using it to full advantage so he can easily take care of the problem with Deidara. If you read the manga, you know what happens.
All and all I'm not that dissapporinted in it.
Now I'll let pen-chan have her computer/mind back.

Now I'll let pen-chan have her computer/mind back. A few things...Gaara loses shukaku, as for stealth, naruto has shadow clones so WHAT'S THE BLOODY POINT!?!? Sakura turns into Tsunade completely to the point where the show has become stupid. Sasuke has not only gained the exact same weapon as the sword sesshomaru uses, he also has an ability similar to that. As for the similarities to DBZ and naruto, WHY does naruto use rasengan so frequently? I know rasengan is stronger, but WHY would they make it a frequently used technique, and not have taijutsu as the main thing? Naruto's next power is a rasengan that encircles his entire body, and sasuke's next ability is a self-encircling chidori....WOW, tell me how that's any different than in DBZ where their hair changes colours and they fly? And naruto and sasuke both use their demons again in an upcoming battle, and they use the self-encircling moves....so, how is that any different than DBZ??? They both can fly, as you each probably saw in the 1st battle with naruto and sasuke, except NOW they have taken it one step further...so tell me, what is the purpose anymore? The show once had purpose, it once had morals...but now they are slowly drifting away...
