Hello all, it's me, Vagrant, or if you want call me Alexxis, or Alex, whatever I don't care.

but I'm here to start what needs to be needed.
To all you kiddies that claim to be 'ssoooo eemooo and hardcore'.
You're not, because you can't be emo, emo is music.

I'm here to tell you about ScenexCore,
and let you discuss it.

The sub forum is called 'Emo /SCENE/' because it's the SCENE of emo.
it's what it looks like in the flesh, rather than being a sound, so it's no longer emo, it's ScenexCore.

and this is my little guide on Scene kids, not saying I'm right, you're wrong, but me being a Scenester I at least have general knowledge of this shiz.
and please, no big arguements here, this is for the kids who seriously need help understanding this stuff.


Note:
SCENE IS A FASHION STATEMENT, NOTHING ELSE.
for those of you who think you're scene even if you don't dress it,
your not, scene is all about the look.
/THE/ scene is going to shows(concerts) and such.

The.Look

Weelll,
we need to discuss the look of scenesters, because that's the bigges thing about them.

here's a general list of things to wear that qualify as 'scene'---

Tight clothing (jeans or shirts)
Band T's
belts (two belts appearently make you extra scene XD)
Arm warmers, wrist bands, jelly bracelets
fingerless gloves
bandanas (in hair, around neck, around leg, hanging out of pocket)
'gangster' hats
band hoodies, or hoodies with little shapes on them of 'scene animals' or skulls or something
nail polish
make up (eyeliner, mascara, eye shadow
hair spray
peircings(sp?)
chokers
chains
overly large sunglasses

and more....

but that's the general outline.

for now I won't post pictures, but I will explain to an extent.

First of all, all their hair cuts aren't the same,
or else you wouldn't see videos of 'emo hair cuts' and each kid has different hair in one way or another.

but a common theme found in a lot of them is straight hair with bangs to reach at least their eyes, and the back spiked up.

the gengeral idea of scene hair is to have it really really flat and straight.
it's not always long, but normally it's at least 3-5 inches.

Colours vary, but generally black, (platnium) blonde, black with blonde patches, or black/blonde with different colour patches

So in general, scene is becomming a big thing, you see more and more scenesters all over the place, and they seem to come from nowhere.
Preppy kids all over the place are being sucked in by the new trend.

so now that you know the basic idea of scene,
discuss.
