The gnarled claws of inadequacy hold tight
Jutting through joys and oblivity
Shredding apart feather-light fantasies

Chasing, the flash of an ever-forward back
Stumbling over the vines of words
The thorns of rejection
And the pit holes of depression
Sands of doubt bring upon our slow demise

The flash moves onward
Soaring above all, beyond all
Towards the light

There is no clearing
Only the faint trickles of hope spattered among the jungle
The cannabals know this
The bones know this
But you do not

The clearing seems closer and nearer
The light offers its welcoming rays of complacency
The flash of a glimpse is within grasp of soiled fingertips

Che- my emo-ness is over abundant today. Sad to say, I'm not feeling too well today. Today, simply sucked and now this is the product.

Just a quick question. Should I stop making topics of each poem and just do what Isel is doing with one collection of poems?
