See, there's this guy I like at my school. I mean like REALLY like for a couple of years now. redface I'm friends with a couple of his friends, so we have talked before, although I never really had the guts to tell him I like him personally. But this year, a new girl came to our school, and we became friends. Pretty good friends actually... (we hug and stuff) But, then she takes a quick liking into the guy I like. Long story short, they end up hugging and stuff when they see each other, (Although I was also going to make my move this year to tell him I liked him) Although they have never dated, people don't really count them as boyfriend/girlfriend yet. She always says stuff like "he's mine" as a joke as well. (Although there have been some rumors that he actually didn't really like her, since it was always her coming up to hug him, ans to him to her.) It hurts me to see them when they hug though. Because there not counted as Girlfriend/Boyfriend yet, does anyone have any tips or ideas on how I can get his attention without making my friend get mad? Even just getting one hug from him would make me feel better crying Any positive help would be very appreciated. sad

k i see your problem and totally feel you here..ok uhm, i think the guy actually does feel a bit attracted to your friend..if not, then why would he even let her hug him or say s**t like "hes mine" or such..i know this situation all too well with me being on the receiving side.. stare oh and does your friend know how you feel about him?do you know how she feels about him?if not then you could always ask her..but i gotta warn you: use the right words..

Hrmm...
Main issue: You don't know what to do because you believe your friend will get mad at you if you try to go out with him?
My best friends I met this school year have been going out with friends I like. They still give me hugs and I still give them hugs. My friends understand that I would NEVER take one of thier guys. Because, well, My friends adore thier boyfriends. But this is slightly off the point.
1.] If she is really your friend, you should tell her how you feel about him.
2.] Try giving him a hug on your own, even if it is in front of her.
3.] If you don't know if he likes you or he liking her, go ahead and try to make a move. It won't hurt to try. Maybe sting if he rejects, but you should only have one day of gloom about the rejection before moving on in life in search of the newer ones.
