Was gonna get mine done at one point, but a girl at school got one recently that she doesn't take care of so it's covered in lymph crust and has massive hypertropic scars on it.

It scared me so bad I decided to get my second choice of a conch which is love <3.

Grr...I would up not being able to go on Sunday.
However, I am taking myself on Tuesday hopefully.

It's not a taper. It's a "threadless" industrial bar. It's made for industrials, and just happens to be held on with o-rings.

Threadless jewelry is always nice... but O-rings are not suitable to heal with. Also, the jewelry looks wayyy to snug on your ear...

It's bad enough that plugs are held on by O-rings, but I must say that is the worst starter jewellery I have ever seen.

What happens when the O-rings fall off?

I agree with Jade, it looks far too snug on your ear.

Personally I'd recommend getting a normal barbell put in straight away.
