Pull her close
As you dance around the stage
Of your Bed
Let the passion of
Cupid's Potion
Contort her love in your direction.
Daring to take the role of Puck?

Stealing girls from paramour
Her and you at the altar
As once you stood from best man to groom
Apostate bartering your friends over your hos.

Well, she'll follow blindly into your artificial devotion
Until intrusion of your courtship held in a pallet
Her gentleman collar ready with his best man as a target

Stealing girls from paramour
Her at the altar
As once you stood from best man to groom
Recessing into a tomb

Frolicking around the stage
Of your Bed
Letting the passion
Of Cupid's Potion
Contort her love in your direction.
While you are blinded by her bosom
And entrancing soft skin and deep kiss
Taking your position in this play
Where you met your death.

Angel's Visit

Gently, gently
the lightest brush of soul feathers.
Revelation:
the mind tingles, held still in awe.
Melting, lovely
warmth liquefies the concrete nerves.
Fading, falling:
vision narrows - single focus.
Sparkle, flicker...
grey swirls, mingling within soft greens.
Empty. Vanished,
yet not gone - protection lingers.
All is right.

“Good morning Sunshine” it says on the text message
That woke me up.
And I’m trying to grasp
If it’s truth on the next line
Or whether you’re wanting another
Thing...from me.
Are your words easily conceived
Like sound from the river
Splashing out lies so close to truth
Is it practically instinct to you?

Lady loves
Fairy tales never
Spoke of supposed men like you
Women abusers
Heart takers
Why must you always cling so close to the good?

“Good Evening Sunset” it says on the next one
That broke my heart.
And I trying not to gasp
From the next words on the glass
Screen and how you’ve left me for another
One…better.
At least you tried to coax me
And take the blame
But it’s not gonna work this time
Because I saw this coming.

Lady loves
Fairy tales never
Spoke of supposed men like you
Women abusers
Heart takers
Why must you always cling so close to the good?

And why must- Why must
You be so modest
Yet be so bold to take the blame
You aren’t hurting
And your heart isn’t burning
From rage and the pain you made
Inside the innocent dame

“Good Morning Starshine” from the next ego-
Tistical guy that I’ve
Fallen for…
