Okay, the new vice captain has been chosen! Please congratulate Akila_Ishtar for her new position in the guild! ^^ I expect everyone to be respectful to her and listen to her, as she is now crew and has all of the power that I do. Okay well, since I have been promoted to captain of the guild and Jajauma Hime said she just wanted to be a normal member, we are in need of a vice captain. (please see this thread for details) Please note that a vice captain is not a necessary part of the guild, so I will be very picky with choosing, especially since the vice captain has the power to easily overthrow the captain. So, if you are interested in becoming vice captain, please fill out an application here. Even if your form is a very good one, and you seem responsible and all, please realize that I will not put you in the position if you are not already an active member of the guild and if I do not feel I trust you. (there really are only a few members in this guild I trust enough right now where I would feel comfortable making them vice captain...) Anyway, in the application form, please put the following:

I will allow applications to post for a week starting today, then after that do a quick review of all the applications and make my decision. Please note that I am under no obligation to pick a vice captain at all if I do not feel comfortable with any of the applicants.
Another note: there are currently two moderators of the guild, neither of which have been very active as of late. I am going to contact them and discuss their inactiveness. If we end up having one or more open moderator positions after that discussion, I will consider the vice captain applicants for moderator positions as well.
Thank you for your time everyone. You should also be expecting a few changes to take place now that the guild is under new ownership, hopefully changes for the better. ^^

Hmm... a part of me has always secretly wished to become a crew member in this guild... well, I might as well apply then. I'll have no hard feelings if I don't get it or anything. So don't worry! =D

Qualifications: I'm pretty responsible when it comes to being counted on and I'm an active member of Gaia. I have a real life job so I know I am capable of taking care of things that need to be done. My job also includes a lot of problem solving and dealing with people in fair and honest methods. I don't like to put people down, nor will I tolerate ignorance. I'm polite and fair in my opinion, and I do what needs to be done. I'm also going to college soon to major in Art, and minor in English - I'll be working with computer graphics and perhaps I can even help in adding a little bit of 'razz' to the guild. A picture is worth a thousand words, and good graphics attract members to join a guild.
Reasons for wanting to be vice captain: I guess I haven't been a member of this guild very long, but... I think I've posted a fair amount. I really love this guild - I suppose that isn't a valid reason, more of an opinion. But I know I'll fulfill my duties since my heart is in it. I guess this has to be my favorite guild, because I've met such wonderful people here. I check this guild everyday, just to see what's going on with everybody and to see if my friends have updated in the forums. A part of me always thought it'd be awesome to help be part of the group that runs this guild and makes this such a great place to be. I'd also like to help figure out a way to make this guild more active, and possibly gain more memberships after that. If I was vice captain I'd put in my best effort to help improve the guild, and make it even better than it already is. =)

Qualifications: Well, I've never been part of a guild crew before. (You have to start somewhere though. ^-^)
When I'm given a certain task, I'm responsible and try my best to meet or exceed expectations. I good at organizing as well. ^-^
Also, I'm able to come on to Gaia often. (After I get my internet fixed, it'll be everyday again! <3)
I have alot of good ideas that we could maybe use to improve the guild, get more active members, and make some cool fun activities! =D
Reasons for wanting to be vice captain: Well... I love this guild. xD And I think it'd be awesome to be vice captain and have a more... Hands-on sort of chance to help out as much as possible and improve the guild. ^-^
Also, as stated above, I have lots of good ideas that we could use. ^-^

Okay, I ended up waiting an extra day just to make sure that everyone who wanted to apply got the chance. ^^ Anyway, I've been thinking on this for a while, and I've finally come up with a decision. To tell the truth, both of you were the two I was hoping would apply the most, but at the same time I was hoping I wouldn't have to decide between you two. XD;; Anyway, I really was a bit more impressed with Akila's application, though both were very good and had the attributes I was looking for. But then I also need to consider that Kitsune Warrior's been in the guild quite a bit longer, and she also seems to be able to get on Gaia a bit more often than Akila. And I really do trust you guys the same amount, so it was a really tough decision. But finally I considered that I have been practically running this guild on my own since quite a while before BK gave up being the captain, and I realized that I was on often enough to keep things under control myself, which would make how active the vice captain is not as important as everything else. So, I think I'm going to have to go with Akila. It was extremely close, but I really was drawn in a bit more by her application. Sorry Kitsune Warrior; I feel horrible that I can't make both of you vice captain. ^^;; But if you are still interested in being in the crew, I would definitely love for you to be a moderator. If I may ask, could both of you either post here or PM me saying if you accept the positions? I'll promote both of you if you are still interested. ^^ Oh, and Kitsune Warrior, if Akila ever is unable to perform her duties as vice captain for a long period of time, maybe becoming too busy with college or something, then I would really like you to take her place if she is truly unable to keep up with the position. ^^ Guess that's about all I have to say. Congratulations Akila. <3 I will trust you to use your vice captain powers fairly and to not overthrow me, just like BK trusted me.

I feel happy and sad at the same time! I mean, I wish we both coulda got it, y'know? But thank you, thank you, thank you! Do you want me to PM you any questions...? Cause, well I have no idea how to be a Vice Captain at the moment... like, what stuff you might need me for, etc...
