I've never set foot in this part of the guild before...Scary...

Anyway, to the Point...
I'm wondering if there was anyone who lives in roughly the same time zone as me (GMT) who would be interested in roleplaying with me.

(I've only RPed once before, I gave up because it was annoying staying up past midnight waiting for everyone to log on and then only getting like ten minutes at a time before I had to switch my computer off. stressed )

If there is anyone out there who would like to (I really doubt that, seeing as you'd have to teach me as well), then that would be awesome! Thank you!

I have loads of experience roleplaying Bakura. Either of them for that matter so if you wanna try rping with me let me know ....

I don't have any ideas at the moment, but I'm bored, so I figured I'd fill this out for now. I'm going to try and be more active about finding roleplays soon (hopefully), but hey, if someone finds me first that'd be nifty wink

And I'm stealing Ryoko's form...huzzah!



Characters you RP: I don't have tons of experience, I've probably had the most fun with Pegasus and Seto though, and perhaps Ryuuzaki. I think I'd be willing to try my hand at anyone though.

Pairings: Preferred pairings, Pegasus/Seto, Otogi/Seto, Yami no Bakura/Seto, Haga/Ryuuzaki (not going to lie though, I hate Weevil and would rather play Rex) annnnnnnnd ok Jou/Seto is growing on me. I rather like adoptshipping but that would be a harder rp I think. With anything, I'd probably prefer to play the submissive, but I'm pretty sure I could do either.

Like characters, I'd also be flexible in pairings, although yuri would probably bore me to tears, so unless you're really desperate, probably not the person to come to for that.

Ratings: Like Ryoko, plot is probably the most important thing. However I'm not squeamish, and I am twisted ^_~...so anything you want I'm down for, so long as it has substance in addition.

Genres: I'd like to try and keep it as canon as possible, or at least, as in character as possible. No emo Anzu, no simpering Seto, no sane Yami no Malik. Theme wise (as far as YGO goes), I tend to prefer general, hurt/comfort or tragedy, I like angst but not when it's too much outward emotional drama. The supernatural and fantastical can also be fun, but I'd be more into the expression rather than the practical detailing of specifics. A mystery could be fun too.

Contact: I would definitely prefer forums, I'd consider PMing, but that wouldn't be very ideal, and there'd have to be a specific reason you want to use PMs. However, like Ryoko, I don't want to restrict rping to finding the time to be online together, especially as I plan to switch time zones (by a significant leap) pretty soon. The only exception, I'd entertain short crack roleplays on aim, I'm an avid crack fan ^_~.

What you look for in a RPer: They have to be semi around, one post every few months is definitely not going to cut it. If it's an active roleplay and you have to vanish for a month, as long as you give me a heads up that's fine. I just would like to be able to count on it going somewhere. Literate would be nice, no offense, but at least an effort should be made to pay attention to language and grammar. As this would be a forum based thing, there's nothing to prevent running a post through spell check at the very least before hitting submit.

Are you currently taking up new RPs: Of course I am, in fact now would be a wonderful time as I've got a lot of free time and will for awhile. Regardless though, even when at my busiest I usually can hit the forums once a day if not more.

Specifics: I won't do mpreg, that's probably the only thing I won't do. I won't even do post mpreg. Crossovers are fine (so long as I know the other series), but I'd really like to find one that's specifically just YGO. I'm going to be iffy about OCs. Tell me about your OC, why you want them in the rp, and who exactly they effect, and I'll think about it. I don't want to slam the door on them, but for now I'd really like to just stick with canon characters.

Other: I'd probably notice a comment added here, but if you specifically want me, go ahead and PM me or leave me a comment on my wall. I'd also consider other roleplays (provided you have a place besides a messenger to do them - I'd perhaps consider email if nowhere on Gaia suited), though I really want a YGO one right now. You can check my interest tags to see what else I'm familiar with, or, again, you can just PM me and ask (pretty sure my tags aren't exactly all inclusive). Granted, I mostly filled this out now out of boredom, and do not expect a reply anytime soon.

Ok cool, I'll try to think of a few ideas over the weekend and see what you like best. I'll be gone for a week in March (though I might still be able to get online, haven't decided where I'm staying yet, so that would be a factor - I just know it'll be that week because it's being planned around a concert Wed the 10th), and not sure if you are on the quarter or semester system. I would assume if it's quarter you are in finals right now (it's the one complication with my trip, trying to not be in the way while still seeing the people I want to see most) so if you want to start something after you get through that, that's fine.

The rest of that is good by me. Once a day is totally fine (I'd prefer that actually because it'll be easier to work around traveling and when I move next year), and brief posts are fine too, because like you said I'd rather get things moving then wait for the "brilliant" response. I'd prefer to play submissive, but I am pretty sure I could do a good dominant so I have no problem if that's where it goes. I'd prefer the forum as well (roleplaying elsewhere would be based on someone else's preference, not my own), so that's no problem.

Mkay, I'm not leaning towards adoptshipping, I love it but I dunno how much I'd love to rp it, I mean if I had a fabulous Gouzaburo I'd maybe get into it, but it's not what I'm looking for. Honestly, I am right now I'm leaning towards puppyshipping (in which case characters seem pretty easily obvious, would just need to work out a theme), or either mastershipping or (and? wink ) toonshipping. With either of those I could probably go either way on characters so if you had more of a comfort leve lone way or the other let me know. If I don't work tomorrow I'll think of themes after I go grocery shopping, if I do I'll think of themes at lunch ^_~.

Yes it's Otogi/Kaiba...it could be good Otogi practice, hahaha, or you could play Kaiba if you wanted, the thing about all those pairings is I could probably play either character, though I do really like my Seto *pets*...hehe. I'm still thinking over what would be a fun theme, but I think I'm leaning towards toonshipping, I miss having a Pegasus around *tries to unpoof Nightfure in the chat rp*...hehehe.

Ok, I'll either flip a coin, or see if I come up with a better toonshipping or mastershipping rp idea, and then get back to you next weekend. I'll be in Davis all next week, and as I'm unsure how often I'll get on, I don't want to try and rush to start something now. In theory I'll be busy socializing with people I don't see on a regular basis, however I tend to sleep less than most people I know, so I might still prowl around at night, we shall see razz .
