Poem - Only A Mistake

Wrote this poem last year. Enjoy if you want.

Sorry I couldn't be the person,
You wanted me to be.
Sorry if I was just a mistake,
But when I'm gone, remember me.

There so much you don't know,
Too much you wouldn't understand.
I know you hated me from the start,
You are ashamed of who I am.

I wish I could tell you,
What you've put me through.
But even if I told you,
You'd think it not true.

Now I'm writing what I couldn't say,
But only in rhyme.
Please give me one last chance,
Before I melt away.



Not trying to be full of myself with this poem, but it's about my relationship with my dad.

...It's a nice poem....But the rhyme scheme in the last stanza doesn't match the rhyme scheme...I'll show you the whole poem...

ABCB, ABCB, ABCB, ABCA

The last stanza is nice and all, but the rhyme scheme messes it up a bit...
