I wanted to make a thread thats similar to chatterbox, but actually involves conversation.

Is it me, or are adverts(Commercials) getting weirder?

I always used to find insurence adverts coming up on the kids channel.

How many 9 year olds need car insurence?

Dude yeah. What also annoys me is when one songs like, on every commercial. When Robot Rock by daft punk came out i'd like, turn on TV and it'd be on.

I like it when people spend a lot of money to do a commercial that sucks. It just makes me think, "Haha, n00bs."

Hmmmm .... I think it would. But it's funnier because a movie cost more to make.

I haven't watched television in about.... 6 months, I imagine. The reality is that I don't miss one bloody thing. I prefer my media filtered through friends, and the webbernet is more than enough for any form of information I might want to pick up.


And perhaps you need insurance from 9-year olds. Some people just aren't willing to huck them into the pool.

Its funny, protest groups and mom's who are worried about their kids failing in school always blame s**t like video games, or music, but not s**t like TV.
